What Is Zoombucks?
Zoombucks is known as a “get-paid-to” (GPT) site, they pay you to complete a variety of fun and easy to do tasks online, things you’re probably already doing right now such as sharing your opinions, watching videos, and signing up for different websites.
There’s plenty of similar sites on the internet that works in similar ways, if you’ve ever heard of Swagbucks it’s basically the same sort of thing. What these GPT sites all have in common is that these tasks are all very low paying, they’re not going to replace your 9 to 5 day job, but if you’re looking to have a little fun while making some piggy bank change then it could work for you.
Zoombucks accepts members internationally and are free to join. The sign up process is extremely simple and easy. To get started you can sign up by logging into either your Facebook or Google account, then you’re ready to start earning.
How To Earn Money At Zoombucks?
You’ll have many tasks you can complete on Zoombucks to earn points, once you’ve earned enough points you can redeem them for a variety of rewards such as cash via PayPal and a number of gift cards.
For your reference 1,000 points = $1.00 USD.
In the paid surveys section you’ll find a number of available surveys for you to take, these surveys come from third party market research companies that are interested in collecting the opinions of ordinary people, this helps them improve their current and future products and services.
Each survey you take will earn you about 500 to 2,500 points, you’ll see exactly how much the survey pays before you start.
Before starting the survey you may have to take a screening questionnaire to see if you fit the criteria that the survey creators are looking for. How often you qualify depends on demographics such as your location, gender, income, education, spending habits, etc.
If you don’t qualify you can keep trying, but keep in mind that the time you wasted doing those screeners will be unpaid!
Doing Marketing Offers
Offers are basically “get paid to sign up” for various things. You can earn points by engaging with different brands and advertisers. These offers are provided by third party research companies like Peanut Labs, OfferToro, AdGate, AdWall, and more.
It’s important to know that there are both free and paid offers.
Free offers for example will have you sign up for a website, downloading a game or app, or to register for a free product trial. While paid offers will require that you make a purchase.
These offers typically pay anywhere from 150 to 15,000+ points, the paid offers always pay a lot more than free ones. You can still make money with paid offers, you just need to ensure that the offer pays more than it cost you to complete it.
What a world we live in that you can now earn money by sitting on your butt watching videos! Before you get too excited I must warn you that this is a VERY low paying gig.
These videos are mostly advertisement clips that last about 30 seconds to a minute long. Basically you get paid anywhere from $0.005 to $0.01 for every 3 videos you watch. You’ll find many categories to choose from such as food, celebrities, health, movies, lifestyle, and more.
Zoombucks gives you a unique referral code to promote to your friends, get them to join with your link and you can earn anywhere from 25 to 250 points once they’ve registered and earned at least 1,000 points.
How many points you earn depends on what country your friend is from. Tier 1 countries like USA, Canada, and UK pays you 250 points. Tier 2 countries pay 150 points. Tier 3 countries pay just 25 points.
Ever so often Zoombucks will release promo codes via social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, all you need to do is grab these codes and enter them into the “Claim Code” section to earn some free easy points.
The good thing about GPT sites like Zoombucks is that there are plenty of different ways to earn, the bad thing is that almost all of them are really low paying. You shouldn’t expect to earn anymore than $25 to $50 per month on this site.
If you want to earn more I recommend you Join Multiple “Get-Paid-To” Sites which will allow you more opportunities to earn.
How Does Zoombucks Pay You?
Zoombucks offer many different ways to turn your points into real spendable rewards such as cash and gift cards. You can get cash with PayPal or Skrill, the minimum redemption amount is 3,000 points which will get you $3.00 USD.
You can also redeem points for gift cards at a number of retailers such as:
- Home Depot,
- The Gap
- Old Navy
- Banana Republic
- and much more…
The minimum redemption amount for gift card varies from 5,000 to 10,000 points which will get you $5.00 to $10.00.
- Free and easy sign up process
- International membership accepted
- Multiple ways to earn
- Plenty of good payment options
- Surveys may be hard to qualify for
- Some offers require you to spend money to earn
- Very low paying tasks
- Just extra income
My Verdict – Is Zoombucks a Scam?
Zoombucks is definitely not a scam. They are a legit GPT site you can go on to make some extra spending money. However most of the tasks are extremely low paying and it will probably take you a long time to earn a few peanuts.
In my experience you probably won’t make anymore than $25 to $50 a month on these kind of sites. If you want to earn more I highly recommend you also check out my list of Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites which are sites I personally use to make extra income online. Joining multiple sites may increase your earning potential.
But if you’re looking for a bigger opportunity to replace your 9 to 5 day job then none of these GPT sites will do. No matter how many sites you join you’ll never be able to live off of them because your hourly earn rate will just be too low.
