earn money sharing your opinions

Zap Surveys is an app that is run by a company called Apps that Pay, LLC, they are a mobile rewards platform that started up back in 2014. They pay their members to earn money by taking surveys, your opinions are collected for the purpose of market research. Companies collecting this information pay you for your time.

Generally people think surveys are easy money but it’s not. The surveys themselves are simple to do, but the tough part is getting to do them in the first place. You often find that you do not qualify after taking a few screening questions, all that wasted time adds up and is quite frustrating.

There are much better sites to join such as Swagbucks where there are endless tasks you can do, most of which you don’t need to qualify to start doing.

How Zap Surveys REALLY Works

How To Join Zap Surveys?

The easiest way to join is to download their app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store. Then you can open up the app and sign up with your email or your Facebook account. Then they give you an introductory survey that pays $6.25 after you do it.

The introductory survey only takes about 2 minutes to do. You may be thinking “$6.25 for doing 2 minutes of work? I’m in!” But don’t get too excited, not all surveys are this high paying and easy. This introductory survey is basically just a sign up bonus and you won’t get it again. Also you won’t be able to cash out that $6.25 right away.

You’ll need to answer a couple very simple demographic questions such as your age, education, income, number in household, etc. These questions will help them give you the suitable surveys.

Taking Surveys

Surveys are not supplied to you by Zap Surveys themselves, but rather 3rd party market research companies such as Tap Research, Peanut Labs, and Pollfish. Each survey take about 10-15 minutes to complete and most of them pay around $0.25-$1.

As mentioned earlier, there is this annoying screening procedure where you’ll need to take a pre-survey test to see if you qualify. Most of the time you won’t, and you’ll have wasted time for nothing.

If you don’t want to waste your time, I recommend you check out “get-paid-to” sites like Swagbucks instead. You can paid to do tasks like watching videos and playing games, and there are no screening procedures to do them.

Completing Offers

Sometimes offers opportunities will come up, these offers are basically where you get paid to sign up for a free trial, downloading an app, joining another survey site, etc. Some are free to do and pay around $0.25 to $1. Other offers require your credit card or for you to make some kind of purchase, but those ones can pay up to $10+.

Referring Others

Zap Surveys gives you your own unique referral link to promote to your friends, family, colleagues, or whoever. When people sign up to Zap Surveys under your referral link, you get to earn $0.15.

How Does Zap Surveys Pay You?

After you have earned at least $25, you can request a payment from Zap Surveys either by Paypal or Amazon gift cards.

Don’t think it is easy to earn $25 just because it seem like a small amount of money, it will take you at least a month or more. The main problem is you won’t qualify for many surveys, and if you don’t qualify then you don’t earn anything. Also most surveys only pay around $0.25 to $1, it will take a lot of surveys to reach that $25 payout.

If grinding surveys for a month or more for a measly $25 doesn’t sound right, check out my #1 Recommendation where I’ll show you step-by-step on how to build an online marketing business that creates $1,000+ per month.

Zap Surveys Advantages

  • Free and easy to install the Zap Surveys app and start earning
  • Gives you $6.25 for signing up and completing the short 2 minute introductory survey
  • Pays with Paypal – the most convenient way to get paid cash online

Zap Surveys Problems

  • Lots of times you don’t qualify for surveys and get screened out, earning you nothing for your time
  • Surveys don’t pay very much
  • Doesn’t offer any other way to earn besides surveys and offers. Swagbucks let you earn by playing games, watching videos, clicking ads, shopping, and more
  • Not a substitute for your day job

Is Zap Surveys a Scam?

Zap Surveys is a completely legit app that does what it’s supposed to, they give you the opportunity to earn cash taking surveys. Many members have left positive reviews and ratings saying they do pay, so if you reach $25 in earnings then you’ll get paid via Paypal or Amazon gift cards. But personally I’m not a fan of surveys because I find I don’t qualify 9 times out of 10.

I prefer to join “get-paid-to” sites like Swagbucks where there are more ways to earn, and most tasks you don’t have to qualify to do. Other similar sites I also recommend would be Inbox Pays and Cash Crate.

If extra income isn’t enough for you and you’d like something that can eventually substitute your day job, then come read my FREE GUIDE HERE where I’ll show you step-by-step on how you can build a website that generates $1,000+ every month.

That’s all I have to say on Zap Surveys, if you have your own experiences you’d like to share then tell me below in the comments. I read all of my comments and usually respond within a day.

I definitely agree that there’s a lot of issues encountered not only with this but most survey companies. Therefore, I usually don’t find it worthwhile although some are better than others if you wanted to do it on the side. I did, however, like that they donated a bit to charity every time $1 was earned which I don’t see often. This was a great read I appreciate the insight overall.
