Whether you’re looking to lose weight, enhance your workout performance, or just keep your body running smoothy, staying in good health can require lots of work. Many people often take supplements to give them that extra edge. But are supplements just all hype or do they actually work?
Many MLM companies like Yoli not only sell these health and wellness supplements, but they also offer a business opportunity where you can create an income by promoting and selling their products.
But you’re probably wondering if Yoli is a MLM scam? Are they just another pyramid scheme? In this Yoli review I’ll be as unbiased as possible and go over all the good, the bad, and the ugly about them. Let’s get started!
Tired of Scams & Low Quality Opportunities?
Type: MLM (multi-level marketing)
Membership Price: $39.95 + $20/year + $9.95 to start + monthly auto-ship ($70-$80)
What Is Yoli?
Yoli is a Utah-based MLM (multi-level marketing) company that sells a large variety of natural health supplements and vitamin products. They also provide a way for ordinary people to make money working from home, and this opportunity is what I’ll mainly be talking about in this review.
Yoli means “to live” in Aztec. This company started up back in late 2009 by Robby Fender, Corey Citron, Daren Falter, Bobby Jones and Michael Prichard. Their mission is to transform lives physically, emotionally, and financially.
They currently have an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website which is a good sign their products and opportunity are legit, but as you might or might not know BBB ratings aren’t always reliable.
Yoli sells health and wellness supplements that helps you manage your weight, achieve peak performance in your workouts, get more energy, and have a healthier body via proper nutrition. Here are just a few examples of their products:
- Weight Management – Supplements and shakes to provide a feeling of fullness and healthy digestion
- Sports Performance – Supplements and drink mixes that helps with muscle function, endurance, stamina, and reducing wear and tear on joints
- Total Nutrition – Supplements that supplies essential minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and omega fats
- PH Balance – Supplements for healthy body PH, green juice drink mix made with over 30 different vegetables and fruits
- Immune Support – Supplements and drink mixes that support a healthy immune system and promotes healthy antioxidant levels
- Energy – Supplements that stimulate metabolic activity, drink mixes that promote endurance and stamina
Become a Yoli Distributor
Whether you’re looking to supplement your household income or create a full time business, the earning potential with Yoli’s business opportunity is endless.
Once you become a Yoli distributor you can become eligible to earn commissions and bonuses by selling their products as well as recruiting others to do the same.
There are several startup costs to become a Yoli distributor:
- Enrollment Pack – $39.95 (one-time payment) (You don’t have to pay this if you buy selected initial order packages)
- Annual Renewal Fee – $20/year
- Virtual Team Office & Marketing Website – $9.95 per month
But wait, it doesn’t end there! These are just the basic costs to get started. To remain as an “active distributor” you’ll also need to be enrolled with something called “auto-ship” which is a monthly minimum product purchase requirement of $70-$80.
That’s still more! In order to qualify for earning commissions you’ll also need to recruit at least 2 active distributors who also have to be enrolled with the monthly auto-ship.
So all these startup costs add up to about $145 which isn’t TOO bad.
But the problem I have with all this is that you’ll need to start recruiting people right off the bat in order to qualify to earn, that’s a big red flag in my opinion! Most other MLMs out there don’t require you to recruit to start earning.
Yoli’s Compensation Plan
Just like other MLM companies, Yoli provide you with two main ways to make money:
- Selling Their Products – The simplest way to earn. When you’re an active member you’ll have access to Yoli products at wholesale pricing, sell it back to customers at retail price and the difference is your profit.
- Recruiting New Participants – Getting people to join your team and earn commissions from their sales
There are over 10 different types of bonuses, commissions, and incentives you can earn. As you sell more products and recruit more people you’ll move up to different rank levels which will allow you to earn more.

Is Yoli a Pyramid Scheme?
No, Yoli is a MLM company and not a pyramid scheme. I see a lot of people using the words “MLM” and “Pyramid Scheme” interchangeably as if they’re the same thing, I think it’s important to distinguish the two because while they’re similar in a lot of ways they’re actually different things.
With a pyramid scheme it’s a system where the only way for participants to earn money is by recruiting new participants into the system. Pyramid schemes are notorious for advertising as a get-rich-quick system, but very few people actually make any money. Pyramid schemes are actually illegal and here in Canada participating in one can land you 5 years in prison!
With MLMs you can also earn by recruiting new participants, but there are actual products you can sell to earn commissions from. In Yoli’s case it’s their health and wellness supplements, shakes, and drink mixes that puts them in the MLM category and therefore legal and legit…but legit doesn’t always mean good.
But in all honesty MLMs are basically what I call “pyramid schemes in disguise,” because with MLMs there is a lot of focus on recruiting and it’s where most of the big bucks are made.
Recruiting Is Where The Money’s At!
If you’re a great salesperson and selling lots of products then that’s fine and dandy, but the important thing you must know about Yoli and all other MLMs out there is that recruiting is where the big bucks are made!
Yoli’s compensation plan provides over 10 different big bonuses, commissions, and incentives you can earn. However, the vast majority of them cannot be achieved by selling products alone, recruiting has to be a big part of your strategy or you’re very unlikely to make any real money doing this.
For example Yoli has an incentive they call the Luxury Car Program where they give you up to $600 every 4 weeks to pay for your car loan or lease payments. There’s many types of luxury cars you can choose from including Mercedes, BMWs, Tesla, Cadillac, Jaguar, and much more.
But one of the big requirements for you to qualify for this Luxury Car Program is that you must have a GV (group volume) of 4,000 or more during 3 out of 4 weeks. Group volume is basically the amount of products purchased by a specific team or group of members.
There are tons of other big attractive incentives you can potentially earn such as travel packages, sharing company profits, and other things. This all sounds really appealing, but the reality is that only a small fraction of 1% of members make it to these levels, the large majority are stuck at the bottom barely making any money.

Is Yoli a Scam?
Yoli is not a scam, they’ve been around for over a decade but that doesn’t mean I would recommend them. Why? Because with MLMs you have to sell a lot of products and recruit a lot of people to earn any serious income, and most people simply don’t know how to do this on their own because they lack the networking and marketing skills.
Obviously there’s a small number of people who are able to do well, but it’s not a good option for the majority of people. If you look up the data some reports are showing that 99% of MLM business fail which is not encouraging at all!
I find it much easier to make money by starting a blogging business and recommending products from companies that people already know and trust like Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, etc. This is the same strategy I currently use to make $1,000+ per month online, below I’ll show you exactly how you can do that too.
How I Earn An Income Online
If you’re interested in making a part time or full time income online I highly recommend that you start a blog and make money by recommending other people’s products and services as an affiliate marketer.
Affiliate marketing is a much better choice over MLMs for a couple of reasons:
- You don’t need to sell anything or recruit anyone, you just need to RECOMMEND products in your blog posts
- You can work from your laptop from anywhere in the world
- You can promote any product or service you wish, not just limited to the products of the MLM company you joined
- It’s FREE to start
I’ve been doing affiliate marketing since December of 2016 and in that time I’ve built two blogs (including this one you’re on now) which gives me a 4-figure monthly income combined. Anyone with the right mindset and training can accomplish the same thing I have.
To follow in my footsteps check out the link below where I’ll show you the same training platform that’s taught me how to do all this and how you can too. Start today for FREE, no credit card required:
The only downside to creating a blogging affiliate marketing business is that it does take a while before you start to see an income. It takes time for your blog to attract visitors and grow, but once it does you’ll be earning good money in your sleep! Maintaining that income is also pretty easy once you get there.
Making a part time or full time income with a blog is definitely achievable, but don’t start unless you’re ready to put in some serious hard work and effort into it! It took me over 2 years to get to where I’m at today, so don’t expect to get rich overnight.
If you’re looking for ways to make money today why not check out my Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites and earn a few bucks online by taking surveys, playing games, watching advertisements, and more? These sites won’t make you rich but they can earn you enough money to pay for a few beers while your blogging business is growing.
