VIP Voice Review – Biggest Scam Ever Or Legit Paid Surveys?

paid from taking online surveys

If you know me then you know my biggest passion in life right now is making money online, and one good way to do so is via sites like VIP Voice where they pay you to take their surveys.

Paid survey sites are nothing new and there are 1000’s of them out there on the internet. VIP Voice is a legit site and not a scam, but they’re far from the best. The two biggest problem with them is that they offer no other way to earn besides taking surveys, and instead of paying you in cash directly they make you enter sweepstakes and bidding on auctions for rewards.

I don’t recommend VIP Voice for making extra income online, there are much better sites that offer more ways to earn and easier and more direct cash payouts.

In this VIP Voice review I’ll go over how they work, what I dislike about them, and why I don’t recommend you join.

Intro – VIP Voice Review

Name: VIP Voice
Website: vipvoice.com
Type: Take surveys to win prizes
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 1.6 out of 5

take surveys for sweepstakes and bid on prizes

I gave VIP Voice a rating of 1.6 out of 5 and honestly they’re not good for people whose primary goal is to make cash online. They do pay you to take their surveys, but they pay you in VIP points and they don’t let you redeem them for cash directly.

Most other sites these days pay in points as well, but usually you can exchange them for a set amount of cash via Paypal or gift cards. With VIP Voice the only way to redeem these points is via sweepstakes and bidding on auctions.

Sweepstakes is like lottery and so chances are you won’t win, and with auctions you’re bidding against other members and you can end up overpaying for a cheap item.

Many other sites pays you in points that are usually worth $0.01 each, but instead of some stupid sweepstakes you can actually redeem them for straight cold hard cash directly. My absolute favorite is Swagbucks (read review) which is a site that pays you cash for taking surveys, watching videos, doing tasks, searching the web, playing games, and more.

How Does VIP Voice Work?

Earn Points Taking Surveys

You earn VIP points by taking surveys, these are just answering questions honestly and are usually in multiple choice. They’re very easy to do and usually take no more than 15 to 30 minutes. How many points you earn per survey depends on your VIP level which I’ll go over below.

But keep in mind that surveys at VIP Voice work just like other survey sites, you still need to qualify for them to be allowed to complete it. But even if you don’t qualify you’ll still receive VIP Participation Points which is like a consolation prize for your time. Many other sites don’t pay you anything at all if you don’t qualify, so this is one thing I do like about VIP Voice.

VIP Levels

There are a total of 5 different VIP Levels, newcomers start at level 1 and as you complete more surveys you will move up levels. Members at higher levels enjoy more points rewarded for every survey completion or attempt.

For example at level 1 you’ll get only 25 points for every survey you attempted by ended up not qualifying, and 50 points if you do qualify and complete it. But at level 5 these numbers increase to 200 and 550 respectively.

To move up to level 2 you just need to complete 2 surveys, after which you’ll earn 50 points for every unsuccessful survey attempt, and 100 points for every survey you qualify and complete. For a full overview of VIP Levels and how it works click here.

How Much Are Points Worth?

You can’t really determine the exact worth of points because they’re used for things like sweepstakes and bidding on auction, and so it depends on the outcome of that. For example you could end up bidding 500 points to win a $5 gift card one time, but then the next time you could end up bidding 750 points to win the same $5 gift card due to more competition.

This is a really bad idea in my opinion and it’s why I prefer other sites like Swagbucks that let you convert points to a set amount of cash directly. If you have 500 “swagbucks” points, that is as good as $5 in cold hard cash.

How Does VIP Voice Pay You?

As said before, you get paid in VIP points for every survey you complete or attempted but didn’t qualify. These points cannot be traded in for cash directly, but instead you can use them to enter sweepstakes or bidding on auctions where you can win cash prizes, gift cards, or a variety of different merchandise:

SweepLand

drawing for prizes to be won

Prizes in sweepstakes include things like vacation trips, cash, TVs, and more. This changes regularly so if you’re not fond of what’s up for grabs this week then just save your points for the next one.

With sweepstakes you’re pretty much participating in a lottery type of draw against other members of VIP Voice and the more entries you have the higher chances of you winning the prize. 1 point = 1 entry into the sweepstakes and you can choose however many points to use as you like. Winners are drawn at random, but let’s be honest most of us aren’t going to win these things.

BidLand

placing the highest bid to win

This is where you can use your points to bid on auctions. Prizes that are up for auction include electronics, housewares, gift cards, and more.

The good thing is that you’re no longer depending on luck to win prizes, so if you have enough points you can outbid everyone and redeem the prize you really want. But unfortunately you can potentially end up overpaying for something you shouldn’t cost a lot.

Overall I really dislike VIP Voice’s SweepLand and BidLand concept and wish they would just pay you your points in cash directly. If this is what you want as well then check out These 6 Top Survey Sites That Pays Via Paypal.

The Good

  • Free to join and start earning
  • Requires no special skill or education to answer surveys
  • You’ll receive VIP points even if you didn’t qualify for surveys. This is contrary to most sites where no points are rewarded for not qualifying.

The Bad

  • Membership not always available
  • Only offers one way to earn which is taking surveys
  • You may not qualify for many surveys if people of your demographic is not in high demand
  • VIP levels does not benefit new comers
  • Points expire if you don’t complete a survey in a period of 6 months, and your membership on the site may end
  • Not a way to earn a significant income
  • Cannot turn points into cash directly but instead used to enter sweepstakes and auctions

Closing Thoughts – Is VIP Voice a Scam?

VIP Voice is definitely not a scam, they do pay you to take surveys, but there’s so many stupid things on this site that makes them not worth joining. First you have the VIP levels which restricts new accounts from earning the full amount, then another thing is how you can only use the points you earn in sweepstakes and auctions.
