Survey Club Review – Legitimate Cash For Surveys Or Scam?

earn cash for participating in online surveys

Survey Club is a pretty old survey site that start up back in 2005, they’re quite different than other survey sites so I thought I’d do a review on them. If you’re looking to skip the dance and get right down to the answer, Survey Club is a legitimate site and not a scam, however I do not recommend you join them.

With Survey Club once you signed up they just give you a list of 3rd party survey sites to join, they want you to join under their link because they get a commission for referring you, they don’t actually provide you with surveys themselves!

In this Survey Club review I’ll go over exactly how this works and why joining them isn’t a good idea.

Intro – Survey Club Review

Name: Survey Club

So in this review I gave Survey Club a rating of 1.3 out of 5 and although they’re technically not a scam I highly advise against joining them. You’ll be wasting your time because all you’ll get after joining Survey Club is a list of 3rd party survey sites they want you to join.

This list of survey sites they give you is not anything special, these sites are those you can easily find by doing a quick google search. Some of these sites are pretty well-known and legit such as Swagbucks (read review), but there’s also other ones that aren’t the best.

If I were you I would just skip the middle man and just join these sites directly. I’d recommend that you find the ones that have good reputation and are known to pay, and just join them on your own, you don’t need Survey Club at all.

Check out these top survey sites I have already reviewed, marked as legitimate, and DO recommend you join.

How Does Survey Club Work?

Survey Club is not like the typical survey site where you join and then receive survey invitations via email, they only give you a list of 3rd party survey sites they want you to join. They want you to become their referral so they can earn commissions from referring you to those sites.

There isn’t anything wrong with referring others to make money, I do it too on my blog here. But I offer my readers honest information about the sites that I’m reviewing, whereas Survey Club pretty much just hands you a list of survey sites and push you to join as many as possible without offering much detail about them.

Many of these sites offer you paid surveys, but also other ways to earn as well such as reading emails, watching video clips, clicking ads, signing up for offers, playing games, downloading apps, and much more.

My favorite site personally is Swagbucks (read review) and is the one I’d recommend if this sound like something you’d like.

How Does Survey Club Pay You?

Survey Club doesn’t actually offer you any surveys themselves, so they don’t pay you anything, you get paid by the 3rd party sites they want you to join.

After you have joined a 3rd party survey site on the list, you will have to either do surveys or other tasks to earn points. Once you have collected enough points you can redeem them for rewards. Each site pays differently, some pay cash via Paypal, others pay only by check or gift cards.

Sites also have different minimum redemption amounts, typically you’ll have to earn at least $20-$30 before they pay you.

Personally I prefer sites that pay cash via Paypal. I don’t like gift cards cause I rarely shop online and check takes forever. If that sounds like you then check out these top 6 survey sites that pay with Paypal.

Should You Join Survey Club?

They’re not a scam in the sense that they’re free to join and there’s no trickery or fraud involved, but joining them is kind of pointless. You’re only benefiting Survey Club by joining these 3rd party sites through them, there’s really nothing in it for you.

The list of survey sites they offer seem okay, I see a few good ones in there that I have already reviewed and deem legitimate, but I also see a few that aren’t so good.

If I were you I would just do some research on which sites are the best and just join those directly. Personally I’d look for sites that offer multiple ways to earn, pays with Paypal, and has a good reputation for paying their members. My favorite is Swagbucks (read review) because they meet all these criteria, they even offer a $5 sign up bonus right now.

Also take a look at these scam free extra income sites that I have already done reviews on, marked as legitimate, and do recommend to people.

But surveys and other similar things are only low income opportunities, you’re looking at earning $25-$50 each month doing them.
