Welcome to another survey site review, this time I’m reviewing a site called SendEarnings. They’re another GPT or “get-paid-to” site where there are just endless ways to earn, if you’re familiar with Swagbucks it’s pretty much the same thing.
Upon doing my research on SendEarnings I suddenly had a deja vu and wondered, “why is this site so familiar?” Oh yes, this site reminds me of another GPT site called Inbox Dollars, in fact the platforms of these two sites look almost identical. Turns out Inbox Dollars OWNS SendEarnings, hence their similarities.
In another review I already concluded that Inbox Dollars is a legitimate site, so therefore SendEarnings is by default not a scam because they’re basically run by the same people.
In this SendEarnings review I’ll go over the endless ways you can earn, their payout procedures, and whether you should join or not.
Type: “Get-paid-to” (GPT) site
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 2 out of 5
You may wonder why I rated SendEarnings only 2 out of 5 if they’re scam-free? Well the biggest problem with this site is that they only pay with a mailed check to your house, no Paypal, no gift cards, nothing else.
If you’re okay with waiting long periods of time to receive your earnings then there’s no issue, but most people I think want their money as fast as possible. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of Top 6 Sites That Pay Through Paypal.
As far as earning opportunities go, SendEarnings has a big selection of earning methods and I’ll go over them below.
How Does SendEarnings Work?
$5 Sign Up Bonus
You do get $5 upon joining and this is a welcome bonus. Of course you won’t be able to withdraw this right away as there is a minimum payout threshold of $30 which I’ll discuss more on later on.
Surveys is one of the most common ways to earn on GPT sites, but I dislike them a lot. Their biggest problem is that they’re incredibly hard to qualify for. Newbies receiving a survey invitation by email get excited at first, but then later realize starting a survey does not mean you’ll get to finish and get paid. Over 9 times out of 10 you’ll be screened out within a few minutes.
If you do qualify then the pay is still pretty bad. For about 10-20 minutes of work filling out these surveys you’ll only be paid about $0.25 to $1.50 on average.
Cash offers are also known as “get paid to sign up” because most offers just require that you fill out some kind of form. SendEarnings offer you both free and paid offers. The free ones pay $0.25 to $2 and they’re pretty easy money for the most part, and doing free offers is probably my #1 favorite way of earning on GPT sites.
Paid offers usually require some sort of purchase first, or you may have to register for a free trial with a credit card. Since there is more involvement on your part, the pay goes up accordingly to $3 to $10+.
There’s usually a bunch of videos available for you to watch, and these are mostly TV advertisement commercials. There’s a variety of things to watch and you’ll never get bored. But the only problem is you only get paid about $0.005 for every few videos you watch. But the good news is nobody will know if you just leave the video running while you go do other things like cook dinner!
You can earn cash playing games, but this is more of a gambling thing because you have to make a deposit first to a site called World Winner. When you make a deposit on World Winner you can get a percentage of cash back from SendEarnings.
If you want to earning cash playing games for FREE and not risk losing any money, then check out Swagbucks instead.
You will receive emails with offers that are likely to appeal to you based on your profile. You don’t have to engage with the offer, but just by opening it and reading it you’ll earn $0.02. Everyday you should receive at least 3 emails or more.
These are exactly what you think they are, grocery coupons. They let you save money on everyday items you may buy at the supermarket, there is a huge variety anything from Scott tissue paper, cereal, Wonder bread, Kraft cheese, and much more. You won’t earn any money for using these coupons, but money saved is money earned, right?
You don’t get paid cash for shopping, but instead you’ll receive cashback from SendEarnings if you shop at one of the online stores on their list. There are many big-name stores to choose from such as Walmart (2% cashback), Urban Outfitters (2.5% cashback), GAP (2.5% cashback), JCPenney (1.5% cashback), and much more.
Additional Ways To Earn More
Just take the referral link that SendEarnings give you and spread it around to your friends, family, co-workers, or whoever else you know that may be interested in earning some extra cash online. When they sign up under your link they become your referral and you’ll earn 10% of whatever they earn.
Becoming a Gold Member
You automatically become a Gold Member after you have successfully made your first cash out.
Being a Gold Member means you can receive payments for your earnings much faster. For non-Gold Members usually it takes about 2 weeks for your payment request to be processed, with Gold Members it will get processed on the following Wednesday instead.
SendEarnings really dropped the ball when it comes to how they pay their members. First of all there is a minimum payout threshold of $30, that is a little bit on the high side but not too out of line. Then the only way to get paid is by check mailed to your home address, this I just cannot accept.
I really don’t understand why some sites still only pay by check in this day and age. First of all that $30 will take you a long time to reach since most tasks you’ll be earning pennies, nickels, and dimes at a time.
As a non Gold Member your payment will get 2 weeks to get processed, then it’ll take 2-3 weeks for the check to get mailed out to you, then it’ll take ANOTHER 1-2 weeks for your bank to clear the check. That’s a lot of waiting around for a measly $30, don’t you think?
If waiting around for a $30 check isn’t right for you, then check out These Top 6 Sites Paying Through Paypal where you’ll receive your payment in a matter of days, not weeks/months.
Is SendEarnings a Scam?
Just like their twin site Inbox Dollars, there is nothing fishy or scammy about SendEarnings. Why they decide to create two sites that look and work pretty much exactly the same way I have no idea, lol.
I really love how they offer such a wide variety of ways to earn, their referral program is pretty good, but where they come up really short is the fact they only offer payments via check only. Their $30 minimum payout also rubs me the wrong way, but they do offer a $5 sign up bonus so you’re only $25 away from your first payout.
Overall they’re not a bad site, but I think you’re better joining better sites like Swagbucks (read my review) instead where you can earn doing the same things, but the payment threshold is lower and they pay cash via Paypal.
In the end none of these sites will do you any good if you want to earn anything more than $25-$50 a month as these are just extra income opportunities. That’s it for now, and as usual I’d love to hear your thoughts on SendEarnings below in the comment section!
