There are many things we do on a daily basis that nobody pays us for, like giving our opinions, watching videos online, visiting websites, playing online games, shopping, and more. Did you know there are sites that let you monetize those activities? RewardShopping is one such site, you can earn money shopping as well as taking surveys, playing games, doing offers, and more.
So you must be wondering if RewardShopping is a scam or are they really going to pay you to do such fun and enjoyable activities? What is the catch? How much do you earn and how do you get paid? Can you do this for a living? I’ll get to all these plus more in this RewardShopping review.
Want To Make Extra Income Online But
Tired of Running Into Scams?
Membership Price: FREE
RewardShopping is what I call a “get-paid-to” site, you can make money doing lots of different things. Yes, just like what their name alludes to you can earn rewards for shopping, this is called cash back. But their main ways to earn are surveys and offers.
One really annoying thing about them is their various membership levels which does not benefit newcomers, when you first join your payout methods will be limited and payout processing times will be slower.
The Details of How RewardShopping Works
How To Sign Up For RewardShopping?
You can only sign up if you’re from the USA, Canada (excluding Quebec), Great Britain, and Australia. You just need to enter your email in the sign up form at rewardshopping.com or use your Facebook account.
Then you’ll need to go to your email and click the confirmation link to log in. Signing up, verifying your email, and signing in automatically earns you 76 Reward Points. From there you can start earning more Reward Points, these points can later be redeemed for gift cards or merchandise.
Earn Cashback Shopping
You can earn rewards for shopping which is technically known as “cash back,” or basically think of it as a coupon. There is a list of online stores with links that take you there, shop through those links and your visit and purchases will be tracked. Reward Shopping pays you anywhere from 15-75 Reward Points for every dollar you spend on shopping.
Surveys on Reward Shopping are supplied by 3rd party research companies, they pay around 500-5000 Reward Points if you’re able to complete them. The toughest thing is qualifying for them, most of the time you’ll get screened out after answering those qualifying questions.
Offers are basically “paid-to-do” tasks, and the tasks varies from offer to offer, and there’s both free ones and paid ones. Free offers are simple and pay around 200-2500 Reward Points, most times you just have to fill in some kind of sign up form, play a game for a certain length of time, or to take a short survey.
Paid offers typically require you to spend money, for example the offer could be to sign up to an online casino and play a certain number of hands. But you can earn 2500-5000+ Reward Points on paid offers.
There is a “SuperLucky” button you can push every day, if you get lucky you can win a few Reward Points. As a new member you get 25 pushes everyday. Most people seem to only win 3-5 Reward Points at most, and this is worth very, very little.
How Much Are Reward Points Worth?
The value of Reward Points are worth different depending on how you redeem them. For example, a $10 Starbucks gift card may cost 246,000 Reward Points, but a $10 Amazon gift card may cost more at 276,000 points. So roughly you’re looking at earning $1 USD for every 2500 Reward Points.
Inviting Friends To Join
The last way to earn is by referring other people to join with the referral link that Reward Shopping gives you. For every person you invite to join that completes the sign up process you will earn 750 Reward Points as well as up to 10% of your referrals earnings.
How Do You Get Paid?
As a basic member you cannot get paid earnings, not until you reach Bronze level. I’ll explain the different membership levels in more detail below. But basically there are lots of ways to redeem your Reward Points, anything from Amazon and Starbucks gift cards to merchandise like speakers, chairs, watches, electronics, and even cars and a $2 million mansion!
After you’ve requested a payout you’ll receive it within 7-14 days, depending on your membership level.
I wasn’t able to find any cash payment methods via check or Paypal, but don’t worry I got you covered with these top 6 sites that Pay with Paypal that you can join instead.
Different Membership Levels
At RewardShopping there are different membership “XP” levels. When you first join you’ll be at the “Basic” level, once you validated your email and filled out your profile you’ll move on to the “Bronze” level. To move on to Gold you’ll have to refer at least 5 people who joins reaches at least Bronze level, and to get to Diamond you’ll have to refer at least 50 people who reaches Bronze.
Basically the higher up you go the more benefits will be unlocked to you such as more pushes on the SuperLucky Button, higher earnings from referrals, more payout options, and faster payout times.
If you want to get to Diamond but don’t believe you’ll ever be able to refer 50 Bronze members, then the alternate way is to pay for a Platinum membership which cost $14.95/year and you’ll be able to enjoy all the benefits of Diamond without having to do any work.
Not Everyone Can Join
Unfortunately anyone outside of the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and Australia cannot join at this time. If you’re outside these countries and would like to learn how to build a serious source of online income, then check out my #1 Recommendation instead where all countries are accepted.
Annoying Membership Levels
I’m really not a fan of these different membership levels. If you can’t get referrals or don’t want to pay for a Platinum membership then you’ll basically stay at the Bronze level forever where you’ll get way less benefits. This is unfair to free Bronze members who cannot get referrals.
For example Bronze members only have 40 pushes on the SuperLucky Button per day, they earn 5% from referrals, and payout takes 14 days to process. But if you’re a Diamond/Platinum member you’ll get 250 pushes a day, earn 10% from referrals, and payouts only take 7 days to process.
30-Day Inactivity Account Suspension
If you don’t log in to your account and complete tasks in a span of over 30 days then you may find that your account will be suspended with all the points you’ve earned frozen!
$2 Million Mansion Reward? Gimme a Break!
In the rewards section they have all sorts of cool things that can be redeemed, including cars and a $2 million mansion in the city you live in. This mansion cost 3.5 billion Reward Points, as if anyone is ever going to be able to make that ever.
This is mainly just to get people talking, and I’m willing to bet nobody’s ever gotten even close to 3.5 billion Reward Points given how low paying everything is.
Just Extra Income
Overall you can make a few extra bucks here and there, but this is definitely not a reliable source of income. You’ll make about $10-$20 a month at most doing things on RewardShopping, and so don’t quit your day job over this. If you’re looking for a full time online income then check out how to build a profitable online business instead.
Is RewardShopping a Scam?
I haven’t found any red flags on Reward Shopping to indicate they’re a scam, they appear to be another legit “get-paid-to” site that rewards you for different tasks. That being said, I do think there’s better sites to join.
My favorite “get-paid-to” sites are Swagbucks and Inbox Pays. They have the best ways to earn, pay cash via Paypal, unlike Reward Shopping they don’t have annoying membership levels, and they also give you $5 cold hard cash to sign up. Payouts also only take 2-3 days unlike Reward Shopping which takes 7-14 days.
If you’re not fond of making extra income then none of these sites are useful. To make a serious part time or full time online income you should check out my #1 Recommended Way of Making Money Online instead.
