Hey there, welcome to another extra income site review. Radio Loyalty is exactly what their name implies, you listen to their radio stations and you get paid for it. Sounds too good to be true? Can you really earn money listening to music or is Radio Loyalty a scam? Read on to find out!
If you want the short answer, no they’re not a scam, but there are better sites to join for making money online. Radio Loyalty doesn’t pay you very much, if you’re already listening to the radio all day and night, then joining them can only be a plus. But if you’re not a radio fan and you’re just joining for the sake of earning money, then you can earn more on these top “get-paid-to” sites instead.
In this Radio Loyalty review I’ll go over how it all works, their rewards system, and whether they’re worth joining or not in my view.
Radio Loyalty Review
Name: Radio Loyalty
Type: Get-paid-to (GPT) site
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 2 out of 5
You may have noticed I rated Radio Loyalty a 2 out of 5, that is an average score from me. I wouldn’t bother with them if you’re looking to make some real money, for every 10 minutes of listening you’ll only earn a few pennies. Their rewards system is also lacking, you can’t redeem your Loyalty Points for Paypal, but only Visa gift cards and merchandise.
This site is only good for people who are okay with making a few pennies at a time, or people who listen to the radio a lot anyway and would like to get something for it.
Radio Loyalty offer multiple genres for you to choose from, you get anything from rock, classical, pop, country, chinese, and more. They do offer other ways to earn such as watching videos and doing offers, but currently when I visit that section I see nothing available, maybe you’ll have better luck.
Earning Money At Radio Loyalty
At Radio Loyalty you don’t get paid in $ but instead you get “Loyalty Points” and when you collect enough of them you can trade them in for merchandise and Visa prepaid cards. Here are the following ways you can start earning Loyalty Points:
As soon as you sign up you’ll automatically get 250 Loyalty Points as a welcome bonus. Then you’ll be prompted to answer some profile questions such as your date of birth, gender, address, etc. There are 10 total profile questions and each question you answer will earn you 100 Loyalty Points for a total of 1000 Loyalty Points.
So just for signing up and filling out your profile you’ll get 1250 Loyalty Points in total. This may sound like a lot of points but they’re worth only about $0.08! Seriously to make it less confusing they should just give you $0.01 per point which is what Swagbucks do, and speaking of Swagbucks they give you a $5 sign up bonus, much more generous!
Listen To Radio
This is the main way to earn on Radio Loyalty. They’ll let you choose what type of music you want to listen to and match you with your preferred genre and radio station. Once you have chosen your station you will get a pop up with some ads on them which you can ignore, these ads are how Radio Loyalty can afford to pay you to listen to their radio.
For every 10 minutes you stay on their radio player you will earn about $0.10. You can also earn by rating the songs and sharing on social media platforms.
I didn’t see anything available to me in this section, but I’ve done offers before on a bunch of other sites and they all work pretty much the same. You typically are paid around $0.25 to $2 to just sign up for another website or download an app. Another type of offer is where you have to make a purchase or subscription, these pay $2 to $10.
Again I did not see anything available to me in this section, it’s possible that you would have different results due to different geographic location. But I’ve watched videos on other sites before and the pay is minuscule. These videos are typically commercials about 90 seconds long, they only pay about $0.005 (1/2 a penny!) for every few videos you watch.
If there’s no videos available for you on Radio Loyalty then check out Swagbucks (read my review) instead where there’s always paid videos for you to watch everyday.
Getting Paid Radio Loyalty Rewards
You can either redeem your Loyalty Points for Visa prepaid gift cards ($25 or $50) or trade them in for a variety of electronic merchandise such as iPods, iPads, headphones, and more.
These rewards cost a lot of points, actually. The cheapest item is the $25 Visa gift card and that cost 294,000 points plus 83,400 points for shipping and handling! The electronics are even more insane, most items like iPods and iPads cost MILLIONS of points. There’s no exact cash value for the points, but approximately 15,000 points = $1 USD.
I think most people would just choose the $25 Visa gift card cause it’s the cheapest one and so it’s the easiest to redeem. But if you want cash then check out These Top 6 Extra Income Sites That Pay With Paypal.
One more thing… your Loyalty Points expire if you don’t earn any new points within a year, or if you don’t login within a period of 180 days. This obviously sucks, but if you haven’t logged in or earned anything in that long then chances are you don’t care if they take away your points anyway..
Final Verdict: Is Radio Loyalty a Scam?
You wouldn’t get scammed at Radio Loyalty, if you’ve collected enough Loyalty Points then you will get paid. But it will take you a very long time to accumulate enough of those points, listening to the radio only pays a few nickles per hour, not even half the minimum wage. I mean, you couldn’t live on earnings this low even if you lived in Africa!
For hardcore radio fans or people just looking to have fun, this is a legit site for you to earn something for your time. For serious extra income earners you’re better off joining these top “get-paid-to” sites instead where there are more ways to earn and you can actually get CASH and not merchandise.
