get paid to take surveys offers videos games

Points Prizes is what’s called a “get-paid-to” site, they pay you for doing simple tasks like taking surveys, doing offers, watching videos, playing games, and referring others to join.

When you do those tasks you earn points which can be traded in for cash either with Paypal, over 40+ selection of gift cards,  video game credits, and even Bitcoin if you’re a cryptocurrency fan.

By the way, if you like the idea of get-paid-to sites I recommend you also visit Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate. These sites all paid me before so I know they’re 100% legit.

How Points Prizes REALLY Works

Getting Started

You can sign up with your email address, and there is no cost to join. You can join either through their website or by downloading their mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

From there you can log in and start earning points.

So at this point you may be wondering how much monetary value do these points have, the answer is to get $1 USD you’ll need to earn about 166 points.

But the exact value of points varies depending on how you cash out since some gift cards have uneven value.

Answering Surveys

In the “survey routers” section of your dashboard you’ll find surveys available for you to take. These surveys are provided by 3rd party market research companies such as Peanut Labs, Tap Research, PollFish, and more.

The pay of the survey depends on the topic and how long it is, generally you’ll earn $0.25 to $1 for a 10-20 minute survey.

The difficulty with surveys is that a lot of times you’ll get kicked out several minutes after taking the survey. This is because the first couple of questions of the survey are screening questions to see if you qualify, how often you qualify depends on your demographics.

There’s usually no pay if you don’t qualify, so you’ll be stuck answering screening questions all day for nothing if you’re unlucky.

Completing Cash Offers

On the same dashboard you found surveys you can also find an “offer walls” which are offers you can complete. Offers are basically a specific task you’ll need to do, such as signing up for a website with valid information, downloading a game, registering for a free trial, joining a survey site, etc.

Most of the time all you gotta do is put in your name, email, phone number, or other info into a sign up box and then click submit. So offers are super easy money, they pay about 100-150 points each (about $0.50 to $1.)

You’ll also find paid offers which are those that require you to spend money or by entering your credit card number, these offers pay more but you gotta make sure it pays more than it cost to complete it.

Watching Videos

There is a video section where you can stream videos from 3rd party platforms like Smores.tv and EngageMe.tv.

For some reason I could not access this section properly, maybe you’ll have more luck. But I’ve seen videos on those platforms before from other get-paid-to sites and the process is all the same.

You watch advertisement videos that are about 15-30 seconds long and earn points after watching them, there’s sometimes a CAPTCHA type code you’ll have to punch in every now and then to receive your points.

Obviously this is probably the easiest task of them all, and unfortunately also the lowest paying one. You’ll typically make only $0.005 which is half a penny for every couple of videos watched.

Answering Daily Polls

There is also a “daily poll” section which is just a few simple questions, it can be something like “How did you discover Points Prizes?” with a few multiple choice questions to rate your experience with Points Prizes so far.

Completing this poll will earn you 5 points (about $0.03) and as the name suggests you can only do this poll once a day.

Referral Program – Earn Money While You Sleep

Points Prizes has a referral program which is where they pay you commissions for referring others to join Points Prizes. You’ll have your own unique referral link to promote to others, those joining under that link will be your referral.

You’ll earn 10% commission of whatever your referrals earn. So if you have 100’s and 1000’s of referrals and they’re earning points, you’ll get 10% of all that while sitting back and doing nothing!

The challenge is of course how are you going to get 100’s and 1000’s of referrals? The best way is to start a blogging business so you can attract 1000’s of free visitors a day to click your links.

If you like Points Prizes you may also like other similar get-paid-to websites like Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate. I recommend these sites because they’ve paid me before, so I know they’re 100% trustworthy!

How Does Points Prizes Pay You?

In the “claim prizes” section you can redeem your hard earned points for cash via Paypal, over 40+ selection of gift cards (Amazon, iTunes, GAP, Ebay, and more), Bitcoin, and video game credits.

The minimum payout threshold starts at 3,000 points to redeem $20 with Paypal and many gift cards.

Points Prizes – The Pros

  • No cost to join and signing up is easy and fast
  • Plenty of earning opportunities available
  • Lots of payment options including Paypal which is my favorite one
  • Good referral program

Points Prizes – The Cons

  • Not going to replace your job
  • Surveys could be a waste of time if you don’t qualify
  • All tasks are very low paying
  • You need a minimum of 3,000 points to redeem $20

Is Points Prizes Worth Your Time?

Points prizes appears to be totally legit. I like how there’s so many different sections where you can earn points, most of them easy and fun tasks. But some of those tasks like surveys are a waste of time in my opinion due to the screening process which wastes your time for nothing.

Other tasks like watching videos is so low paying that it’s also a waste of time. Offers are the best way to earn, but the high paying ones require you to spend money first.

Overall you probably won’t make more than $10-$20 per month on Points Prizes. I’d say they’re worth joining if you’re just having fun, but if you’re looking for a bigger income then keep reading.

Making More Money Doing THIS Instead

There are 100’s of get-paid-to sites out there similar to Points Prizes, but none of them will pay you enough to make a substantial part time or full time income. The problem is they just pay too low, making more than $10-$20 a month will be a big challenge.
