PanelPolls is a site that basically offers you cash for doing a variety of activities like surveys, focus groups, and product testing. They focus on providing cash earning opportunities for you and your whole family including your kids aged 6-17.
It appears that PanelPolls is legit and do pay, you can find plenty of positive user reviews on forums. It’s possible to earn around $10-$20 a month here, but it’s nothing to get too excited about as this certainly isn’t a full time or even part time income opportunity.
In this PanelPolls review I’ll cover all that they have to offer, how they pay you your cash, and whether they’re worth joining or not.
Type: Surveys, product testing, focus groups
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 2.3 out of 5
I gave PanelPolls a rating of 2.3 out of 5 because they’re a legit extra income site, many people have reported that cash out is quick and they received their payments within 1-2 weeks. Their biggest problem is you won’t earn very much, $10-$20 is not even enough to pay my phone bill.
I recommend you join multiple extra income sites to increase your total monthly income. Some sites that are reputable and I recommend are Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate. These sites have all paid me before and I currently use them to make an extra income online.
How Does PanelPolls Work?
Who Can Sign Up?
Currently only people from the USA can join, you also have to be between the ages of 6-24 (kids 17 and under require parent’s consent) or if you’re 25+ and are a parent of kids 6-17.
For all the kid-less adults 25+ you are out of luck with PanelPolls, but you can still check out these top “get-paid-to” sites where they accept adults of all ages.
Surveys at PanelPolls work similar to other survey sites, you’ll get emailed survey invitations or you can log in to check if any is available to you. Each survey pay around $1 and take about 5-10 minutes to do.
You have to qualify for them first by answering some preliminary screening questions, how often you qualify depends on a variety of things like demographics, but the general consensus is you won’t qualify most of the times.
If you qualify, you’ll be offered to be one of the first people to enjoy certain new products as a product tester. You’ll get to try out new online games, watch new TV shows, and give your opinions on your likes/dislikes afterwards. This help the product developers correct any flaws and to change things for the better.
If you live in New York or LA then you may qualify to participate in live focus groups, these are where a group of people show up to test/review a product and then give a discussion on it.
Focus group sessions last around 45 minutes to 2 hours, and the pay is usually at least $50-$100+.
Your earning potential at PanelPolls is about $10-$20 a month, maybe less maybe more. It depends on how often you qualify for tasks, and that depends on a variety of things like your location, income, job, number of kids, etc.
The biggest problem is that most activities/tasks require that you qualify for them first. For example if they’re only looking for product testers from LA and you live in Florida, then you won’t quality and won’t get to earn anything. This is why I prefer these top “get-paid-to” sites where you don’t have to qualify to earn.
You’ll get a few survey invitations via email but starting a survey doesn’t mean you’ll qualify, many times you’ll get screened out a few minutes into it. So again, don’t expect to make much doing this.
How Does PanelPolls Pay You?
When you complete activities/tasks you’ll be paid in points, which can be redeemed for cash later on. You’ll need to collect at least 10,000 points for a $10 payout via Amazon gift cards, or 20,000 points for a $20 payout via check.
I’m not a fan of their payment options. Amazon gift cards are great if you shop online anyway, but I rarely buy from Amazon and so gift cards are useless to me. Check is too slow, after you get them in the mail you’ll have to cash them at the bank and wait a few weeks to get it cleared.
I prefer sites that pay with Paypal where typically it’ll only take 1-3 days to receive your payment instead of having to wait weeks.
Conclusion: Is PanelPolls Legit?
It seems that PanelPolls is completely legit and if you complete their activities/tasks then you will get paid. This site is great if you’re looking for something to do with your kids as a family, or for young adults 18-24 who are perhaps college students who want to make a few bucks.
It’s not like you’ll replace your part time or full time job with this, but it’s possible to make about $10-$20 a month. If you want to make more then I suggest you join multiple extra income sites.
