Doing paid surveys is probably one of the most common ways people make money online. They are easy to do and anyone can sign up to a survey site like OneOpinion.com and start earning for free.
Sites like OneOpinion is okay, but they only offer surveys and no other ways to earn. I prefer these top get-paid-to sites where you can also earn by watching videos, playing games, reading emails, signing up for websites, and more.
In this OneOpinion review I’ll go over how to earn doing surveys, how much you can earn, how you get paid, and whether they’re a scam or not.
Tired Of Scams Or Not Earning Enough?
Intro – OneOpinion Review
Type: Paid survey site
Membership Price: No cost to join
My Rating: 2 out of 5
I gave OneOpinion a rating of 2 out of 5 and they’re not the best option if your main objective is making money online. In my research they do seem to be legit and pay their members, but doing online surveys won’t make you much and it’s not a good investment of your time.
The main issue with online surveys is that qualifying isn’t easy, and if you don’t qualify then you can’t finish the survey and won’t get paid. The typical experience is starting a survey and answering a bunch of screening questions for 5 minutes only to see the “sorry you don’t qualify” message. Imagine how frustrating it’d be to do 5 or 6 of these and still not qualify!
You’re way better off joining these get-paid-to sites instead where you can also do paid surveys if you like, but you also get to earn doing other things that don’t need qualifying for like watching videos, playing games, clicking ads, and more.
How Does OneOpinion Work?
1. Sign Up
To create an account all you need to do is answer a few simple questions like your name, email, date of birth, address, and other questions about your demographics. This helps them understand a little more about you and allow them to better give you the surveys that suit you.
2. Take Surveys
Once you’ve created your account the fun can begin. You can either wait for survey invitations in your email inbox or go on OneOpinion and see if there are any surveys available to be taken. Surveys typically take 10 to 30 minutes to do and pays $0.25 to $2.50, some pay a bit more but that’s unusual. Before you do a survey they’ll tell you how much it pays.
If you see 10 available surveys that pays $2 each it does NOT mean you’ll make $20. It means you can TRY to qualify for the survey, and if you do qualify then you can take that survey and make that money. But as previously mentioned, qualifying for surveys is HARD!
How often you qualify depends on your demographics and whether you fit the profile of what research companies are looking for. Sure you may be one of the lucky ones that qualify a lot, but in my own experience and looking at other people’s experiences, qualifying is a rare occurrence…but it does happen.
3. Get Paid
There is a minimum amount of $25 you must earn before OneOpinion pays you. Currently you can either get paid via Paypal or gift cards (Amazon and Visa prepaid.)
How Does OneOpinion Pay You?
After you have reached the $25 payout threshold you can request a payout via your choosing of either Paypal or Amazon and Visa gift cards. For the gift cards there are both physical cards that gets mailed to you and virtual cards that get sent to you by email.
If you choose the virtual gift cards you’ll need to complete an extra verification process which is pretty simple and involves answering some security questions, this is to make sure you’re a real person and not a computer robot. Once you’ve requested virtual gift cards you should receive it within about a few hours to a day.
This verification process, even though easy, is a pain in the butt. Other survey sites like Swagbucks (read review) also offers Paypal and virtual gift cards, but there’s no pesky extra verifications required.
If you want a physical gift card these will be mailed to your address and it will take 1-2 weeks to arrive.

What I Dislike
Is OneOpinion.com Worth Joining?
OneOpinion is a legit survey site and they do pay, but I still don’t recommend you joining them. They are what I’d call a “pure” survey site, meaning they only offer surveys as a way to earn, this isn’t a good thing as it limits how much you can earn.
Why not join get-paid-to sites instead where you’ll have other ways to earn besides surveys? I recommend that you join these top get-paid-to sites where not only will you find paid surveys, but you can also earn by watching videos, playing games, reading emails, clicking ads, doing offers, referring others, and more.
My all-time favorite get-paid-to sites are Swagbucks (read review) and Inbox Pays (read review) so those are the 2 sites I’d recommend you sign up for first. They offer the best ways to earn, have quick and easy payouts, and also offer a $5 sign up bonus.
But survey sites, paid-to sites, and other similar things won’t let you earn that much. You’re looking at maybe $10 to $50 a month on these type of sites, they’re not a full time income opportunity.
