MindsPay Review

Name: MindsPay
Website: mindspay.com
Type: Paid to take surveys
Membership Price: FREE $0

be heard your opinion matters

Mindspay.com is a site that started up back in 2010 and they’re a paid surveys site that is based in Michigan, USA. They not only offer paid surveys opportunities, but also you can earn by signing up for trial offers, doing focus groups, product testing, and even earn cashback and coupons for shopping.

They do make you earn at least $50 before they pay you, and there’s a mandatory 30 day waiting period from the day you requested payment! If you’re familiar with survey sites, these things don’t pay very much and accumulating $50 is a tough task!

Why not join better sites like Swagbucks where the minimum payout via Paypal is only $25, and there’s no pesky 30 day waiting period?

How MindsPay REALLY Works

How To Sign Up For MindsPay?

You can only join MindsPay if you’re from good ol’ United States of Murica, you also have to be at least 18 years old. All you need to do is fill out the sign up form with your name and email. After joining you’ll be given a $3 sign up bonus to start you off!

How To Earn Money At MindsPay?

Taking surveys is the main way to earn at MindsPay, but there are other earning opportunities as well. You can sign up for offers, these are basically paid-to-sign-up where you either sign up for a free or paid trial offer. You may also receive emails with invitations to participate in product testing, focus groups, or even earn by reading emails.

Surveys take around 5-15 minutes to do and pay around $0.50 to $3 for every one you qualify for and complete. Offers also take 5-15 minutes to complete and you can earn up to $50 per offer (some are paid offers that require you to spend money first), while opening emails earn you up to $0.25 each.

Quick Tip: Did you know you can also earn money online by watching videos, playing games, searching the web, downloading apps, and much more at these top “get-paid-to” sites? Check them out if you’re looking for more ways to earn.

Inviting Others To Join

The final way to earn on MindsPay is by inviting others to join. There is a referral program where you can earn 10% of everything your referrals earn from doing offers. So if your friend that joined under your referral link earns $100 from doing offers and $20 from doing surveys, you will earn $10.

Can You Make a Full Time Living Doing This?

Lol… if only it was that easy. No, these survey sites and other similar things are only good for making a small extra income. You won’t be able to do this for a living because earning opportunities just don’t come by often enough and they’re actually quite low paying.

I know I mentioned earlier that you can make up to $50 for completing an offer, and if you can complete it in 5-15 minutes it would seem like a very good hourly rate. But the problem is, offers paying that high usually require you to spend money first, so in reality you’re not really making $50 after factoring in what came out of your own pocket. There are free to sign up offers, but they usually pay much less, around $0.50 to $2.

Surveys are free to do, but they pay only $0.50 to $2 and sometimes you get screened out halfway through because for whatever reason you don’t qualify anymore.

None of these things have any full time income potential, and if that’s what you’re looking for then I recommend you check out my #1 Recommended Way of Making Money Online where a full time income IS possible… if you are willing to put in the work.

How Do You Get Paid?

There’s only one way to get paid and it’s by Paypal, which is fine by me cause I consider them the most convenient way to get paid online. The problem is that MindsPay require you to earn at least $50 before they pay you.

MindsPay send out payments twice a month, on the 15th and 30th. Another problem is that there’s a mandatory 30 day waiting period from the day you requested payment. So that means if you reached $50 and requested payout on the 5th, you’ll have to wait till freakin next month on the 15th to get paid!

But wait… there’s ONE more problem. MindsPay only pay in $50 increments. Meaning if you accumulated $75 in earnings, they’ll only pay you $50, the other $25 will stay in your account.

If all this sounds like a bunch of crap, then check out better sites I recommend such as Swagbucks where the minimum payout is only $25 and there’s no annoying 30 day waiting period for a cash out.

MindsPay Problems

Not Available Outside USA

If you’re located in a country outside of the USA then you won’t be able to join. If you’re from the USA, Canada, Australia, or the UK then I recommend you join Swagbucks instead. But if you’re outside any of those countries then I recommend you check out my #1 Recommendation for making money online where all countries are accepted.

Very High Payout Threshold

With a $50 payout threshold this is the highest I’ve seen. Other sites typically have lower thresholds at around $20-$30. The thing that is important to keep in mind is that these surveys, reading emails, offers, and other things don’t pay that well and opportunities to earn depends on your demographics, but usually you shouldn’t expect to earn more than about $10-$30 or so per month.

The high payout threshold is just one problem of many. Then you have to deal with the fact they only pay in $50 increments, and that there’s that annoying 30 day waiting period.

Payout Only In $50 Increments

I don’t understand why they can’t just pay you what you’re owed, instead they have this really annoying rule where you can only be paid in $50 increments. So if you have collected $100 in earnings then you’ll get paid the full $100 amount, but if you earned $99 then you’ll only get paid $50 and the other $49 remains in your account.

Just absolutely annoying! Other sites like Swagbucks do not have this problem, if you earn $55, $99, or whatever weird dollar number then you’ll get paid that amount.

First Payout Takes 30 Days!

As if the high payout threshold and $50 increments problems isn’t enough, they also make you wait 30 days from the day you requested payment before they pay you. This is just another cheap ass excuse for them to hold on to your money even longer! I mean, what other reason can there be for this 30 day mandatory waiting period? They just don’t wanna pay you!

Don’t Quit Your Day Job

Obviously this is just a micro income site and there’s no way to really make a full time living doing surveys and these other things. At most you’ll make $50 or whatever every couple of months, maybe $100 every year… hardly a serious income source.

If you want to quit your day job working online then I recommend you check out my FREE GUIDE HERE on how to build a part time or full time income with an affiliate marketing business. This way of earning money online is legit and has unlimited earning potential, but it’s not quick money and WILL take at least 6-12 months to start seeing income.

Is MindsPay a Legit Income Opportunity?

It appears that MindsPay is a legit extra income site and that they’re scam free, but they come with tons of annoying rules such as having a high $50 payout threshold, only paying in $50 increments, and making you wait 30 days before they pay. Overall there are much better sites to join and I do not recommend MindsPay.

If you’re interested in making extra income online then also check out my favorite site Swagbucks, I’ve been paid multiple times by them and they’re much easier to use. They offer endless ways to earn, pays with Paypal, and payout is much quicker and easier.

If you need to earn more than $50 a month then I recommend you look into building an online website business. With a web business you can earn money by writing blog posts promoting other people’s products and services. Don’t worry if you don’t know any of this, I have explained step-by-step on how to do this in my FREE GUIDE HERE.
