Viggle App Review
Name: Viggle App
Type: Paid to watch TV
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 2 out of 5
My personal rating of the Viggle App is a 2 out of 5. In my blog I review sites that allow you to make money online, and one important thing I judge them on of course is earning potential. In Viggle App’s case, the earning potential is really low, it’s just a bonus if you already watch a lot of TV. Basically don’t quit your day job to do this.
If you’re interested in earning income online consider checking these other extra income sites where you can earn cash doing various easy things like watching TV, videos, listening to music, taking surveys, offers, and more.
The TRUTH of How Viggle App Works
Who Can Get Viggle App?
Viggle is a phone app so you’ll need to sign up with your smart phone. Currently you can sign up if you have an iOS or Android phone. Membership is completely free, but unfortunately membership is limited to the USA and only those who are 13+ years old.
Earn Cash – Videos, TV Shows, Music
After you have downloaded the app and signed up, you can begin to earn “Viggle points” which you do by streaming online videos, TV shows, and music. These Viggle points can be turned into “Perk points” and from there you can redeem them for various rewards options such as gift cards, merchandise, or even cash.
When you’re ready you can “check in” with the Viggle App and then start streaming shows to earn. While you’re watching the shows you gotta pay attention because periodicly there will be ads and other prompts you’ll have to interact with, this makes sure that you don’t just leave the videos playing on it’s own. Companies are paying you to watch these shows and they want you to engage in them.
Quick Tip – Did you know you can also make money online by reading emails, watching commercials, clicking ads, taking surveys, and much more at these top “get-paid-to” sites?
How Much Can You Make?
Each minute that you spend streaming shows earn you about one Viggle point. The Viggle App lets you earn up to 60,000 Viggle points monthly. Because Viggle App deals with a point-based system, how much points are worth depends on how you redeem them.
What Are Viggle points Worth?
You can trade in Viggle points for Perk points which is a very popular mobile rewards program. Perk points can then be converted to gift cards, merchandise, or cash. 20 Viggle points equals 1 Perk point, and 1000 Perk points is worth only about $1.
Tips/Hacks To Earn More Viggle points
Some shows are featured by the Viggle App and they pay a lot more (4x, 6x, 10x more points), there are also bonuses you can earn by watching specific shows at various times You can also earn extra Viggle points by doing “quests” which means tuning into shows of a particular category, and “streaks” where you’re watching multiple shows of a TV series.
How Do You Get Paid?
The payment options include over 800+ gift card options, cash, or you can use your points to enter sweepstakes for a chance to win big prizes like electronics and trips to live TV shows like American Idol and America’s Got Talent. For the cash option you can choose to be paid with Perk Plastik which is a prepaid debit card, or you can choose Paypal payments.
What’s Good About Viggle App?
- I really love that Viggle App is free, all you need is a smart phone and who doesn’t carry one around 24/7 these days?
- Tons of cash out options. Turn your Viggle/Perk points into gift cards, merchandise prizes, or real cold hard cash
What’s Bad About Viggle App?
- Too bad they don’t accept people from worldwide. Only those from the USA can join and you’ll have to be 13+ to do so
- I’m not a fan of sites that has a point-based system, all those points are kind of confusing. I rather they just pay you in dollars instead which will make figuring out how much you’ve actually earned a lot easier
- Viggle App is just an extra income opportunity. I mean, you’ll only earn maybe 100-200 points every couple of hours. 1000 points is worth a mere $1, so you do the math… even the biggest of couch potatoes probably won’t earn more than about $5-$10 a month doing this!
Is Viggle App a Legit Way To Earn Money?
From my research I’d conclude that Viggle App is legit, I haven’t seen any major red flags or signs that point to them tricking people or not paying. But even though it’s legit, be prepared to watch many, many, many hours of TV and shows before you earn a measly dollar. But fortunately they do have pretty good payment options, so you’ll get paid easily and quickly.
If you’re looking for serious money then you can’t make that by watching TV, you can make a few nickles and dimes here and there but nobody is going to pay you a full time income by being a neck beard couch potato.
