Welcome to another survey site review, today I’ll be looking at SurveySay which is a site that’s been around since 2008 so we’ll see if SurveySay is a scam or a legit paid survey site.
First thing is that this site is completely free to join, and so at the very most even if they’re a scam you’ll only get scammed out of your time and not money. But if you’re ready to learn the truth of how they work, how they pay, and why I think they’re a waste of time, then read on.
Want To Make Extra Income Online But
Tired of Running Into Scams?
Type: Paid surveys
Membership Price: No cost to join
My Rating: 1.1 out of 5
You probably noticed the 1.1 out of 5 rating I gave SurveySay, they appear to be scam-free but they are a complete waste of time in my opinion. SurveySay doesn’t have any surveys for you to take, they simply refer you to join other sites. Joining SurveySay is kind of pointless when you can just join survey sites directly.
The TRUTH of How SurveySay Work
SurveySay is not even a real survey site, they’re basically a site you sign up for which then gives you a list of survey sites they want you to join. They want you to join those sites because they earn commissions from those survey sites they refer people to.
Anyone from any country can sign up to SurveySay, all you need is to give them your email, date of birth, and gender. You don’t even need to create a password, which is very strange and I have not seen this before on any of the other survey sites I’ve reviewed on this blog.
But keep in mind that just because all countries can join SurveySay doesn’t mean all countries can join those 3rd party sites that you’re referred to. Many survey sites only accept people from the USA, Canada, Australia, and UK. If you’re outside those countries you may get a lot of emails from SurveySay with links to 3rd party sites that you won’t be qualified to join!
If you’re outside the USA, Canada, Australia, or UK then you may want to check out my #1 Recommendation instead where everyone worldwide is accepted.
Get Emailed Survey Invitations
Once you joined SurveySay you’ll begin to receive lots of emails. In these emails are links to the 3rd party survey sites that they want you to join, those are the sites where they actually provide you with the surveys. SurveySay is just a middleman and they encourages you to join as many sites as you can, so you’ll get quite a few emails.
How Much Can You Earn?
The short answer is that surveys are hard to qualify for and if you do qualify then they pay about $0.25 to $2 each and averages 10-20 minutes to complete. Most people start a survey and then get kicked out after a few questions for not “qualifying.” This wastes a lot of the survey taker’s time and is very frustrating!
If you want to earn money doing things that you don’t need to qualify for, then check out these top “get-paid-to” sites instead where you can earn by reading emails, watching videos, playing games, doing tasks, offers, and much more.
How Do You Get Paid?
Since SurveySay doesn’t provide you with the surveys themselves, they don’t pay you anything. You get paid by the 3rd party survey site that you join through SurveySay’s emails to you.
Different sites pay differently, some common payment methods include cash via check, Paypal, Dwolla, Visa gift cards, Amazon gift cards, and more. Some sites only pay with gift cards and offer no cash payments. If you want to earn cash, then check out these sites that pay with Paypal.
SurveySay – The Positives
No Cost To Join
You know a site is a waste of time when the only positive you can say about it is that…well, at least they were free and I only lost time and not money! SurveySay is free to join, but why go through some middleman when you can just join those survey sites directly?
If you don’t know what survey sites are legit then go with the biggest and most reputable ones that are known to pay, the top three I usually recommend are Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate because they offer endless ways to earn and all make cash payments through Paypal.
SurveySay – The negatives
Just Extra Income
Regardless of which survey site you join, you won’t make much more than pocket change every month. The typical monthly earnings from these survey sites are just around $10-$20. One way to increase your earning potential is to join multiple sites.
Drowning In Spam
Some people complain about receiving too many emails once you have joined. Who knows what they do with your email once you hand it over. They say that they don’t sell your email address to 3rd party websites, but you’ll still get a lot of annoying emails.
You Don’t Need Them
You joining SurveySay will benefit them a lot more than it benefits you. You don’t actually need to join them to access the surveys sites they refer you to, these sites are available to anyone with a quick Google search.
If you’re looking for someone to sort through the scams and only offer legit sites then I’ve already complied them for you in my full list of legit extra income sites here, no need to join SurveySay and be bombarded with lots of emails.
Is SurveySay a Scam Or Legit?
SurveySay is not a scam, but they’re not a site that I’d recommend you join. They just refer you to join a bunch of 3rd party survey sites and there is no point in going through some middle man when you can Google survey sites yourself and join them directly. The only good thing about them is that they’re free and so that’s why I don’t call them a scam.
That being said, if you’re still interested in taking surveys to make money online then the top sites I’d recommend are Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate. These are sites I currently use myself to earn a little extra cash every month and so I know they do pay.
If extra cash isn’t enough for you, then how’d you like to earn a part time or full time income by building websites/blogs? You can learn to do this by getting my FREE guide here.
That’s it for now on this SurveySay review, if you got your own thing to say about them or if you have any questions as usual I’d like to see them below in the comments!
