Is SurveyRewardz a Scam Or Legit? My Review Exposes All!

take surveys earn cash rewards

SurveyRewardz is a survey site that offers their members a chance to earn real cash by taking their surveys. They don’t pay you in cash directly but rather points, these points can later be redeemed for real cold hard cash via various methods including Paypal.

Doing surveys is a very popular way to make money online because it’s easy and survey sites are usually free to sign up. The downside is that they’re hard to qualify for and usually you can only earn very little.

SurveyRewardz isn’t a scam, they’re a legit way to get paid doing surveys. But I recommend you join these get-paid-to (GPT) sites instead, GPT sites are great because in addition to surveys you can also earn watching videos, playing games, reading emails, and a bunch of easy things.

In this SurveyRewardz review I’ll go over how it works, how they pay, some pros and cons, and whether they’re a scam or legit.

Intro – My SurveyRewardz Review

Name: SurveyRewardz
Type: Paid survey site
Membership Price: No cost to join
My Rating: 2.7 out of 5

answer online surveys for rewards

I gave SurveyRewardz a rating of 2.7 out of 5, they’re not a scam but they’re nothing special. I don’t recommend joining them if you’re looking to make some money online. Why not? The main problem is that they’re a “pure” survey site, meaning they don’t offer any other ways to earn other than doing surveys.

You’re severely limiting yourself if you’re joining sites that only offer one way to earn. Get-paid-to sites like Swagbucks (read review) provide plenty of ways to earn, including surveys, videos, offers, games, shopping, and more.

I do like that SurveyRewardz offer quick and easy payments, the payout minimum starts at just $1 and you can get paid via many ways including Paypal, Amazon gift cards, check, and more.

But overall they’re just an average survey site with low earning potential, for more ways to earn I recommend these top paid-to sites over them.

How Does SurveyRewardz Work?

Taking Surveys

As I said before, SurveyRewardz is a pure survey site and the only way to earn is by doing surveys. These surveys are provided by 3rd party research companies who need the opinions from regular people.

Once you joined and created an account at SurveyRewardz you’ll need to fill out some profile questionnaires that asks you things like your age, ethnicity, income, etc. which helps SurveyRewardz know you better so they can send the appropriate surveys to you.

To see what surveys are available you can log in to your account and check your user dashboard, or you could check your email for survey invitations.

But just keep in mind that just because a survey is available doesn’t mean you’ll qualify and get paid for them. Typically you’ll need to answer some screening questions first, and only if you qualify will you be allowed to finish the survey and get paid.

Most surveys pay in the range of $0.25 to $3 and take around 10 to 25 minutes to complete.

Quality Score

SurveyRewardz uses a quality score to keep track of how accurate and consistent your answers are.

This quality score goes up or down every time you take a survey, and the higher your score the better your chance of getting more surveys offered to you.

You earn a high score by answering truthfully with detailed responses, your score drops if you rush through them and lie or use inconsistent answers. If your score falls too low you may be blocked from ever being able to take surveys again.

How Does SurveyRewardz Reward You?

There are plenty of ways to get paid at SurveyRewardz, these payment methods include Paypal, Visa gift cards, check, and electronic gift cards at various major retailers including Amazon. The minimum payouts are different depending on the method and some have fees but some don’t, here is the breakdown:

Paypal¬† – $1 minimum and there’s a fee of $0.10 if your withdrawal amount is less than $10

Visa Gift Card – $5 minimum and the fees varies

Gift Cards (Amazon, Best Buy, Dunkin Donuts, Itunes, Walmart) – $5 minimum with no fees

Panera Gift Card – $2 minimum with no fees

Home Depot Gift Card – $10 minimum with no fees

XBox Gift Card – $15 minimum with no fees (must be in increments of $15, $25, or $50)

Check – $5 minimum with no fees, this is issued in USD only so your bank may charge additional currency conversion fees

What I Love

  • Membership is opened to ALL countries, you just have to be at least 18 years old, or at least 13 with parental consent
  • Has low minimum payout amounts starting at just $1
  • Offer plenty of payment methods including Paypal and Amazon gift cards

What I Don’t Love

  • Survey qualifications depend on your demographics, but generally they’re hard to qualify for
  • Some users report being disqualified AFTER starting the paid survey itself with a message that they survey is “closed.” Talk about a waste of time!
  • They don’t offer a referral program like most other sites do
  • You won’t be able to make a living taking surveys

Final Verdict: Is SurveyRewardz a Scam?

From my research SurveyRewardz isnt a scam, it’s one of the legit survey sites out there. The thing I like most about them is that they offer many payment options with low payout minimums, contrary to some sites that have to gall to still only pay by check in this day and age!

If your goal is to make a small income then you’re better off joining these get-paid-to sites instead where there are more ways to earn. I highly recommend you check out Swagbucks (read review) which is the #1 paid-to site on the web and my personal favorite cause they have the best ways to earn and they’re currently offering a $5 sign up bonus.

But regardless of whether it’s survey sites or paid-to sites, these are all just beer money sites. If you’d like to learn how to earn a full time online income building blogs/websites then check out my #1 recommended way of making money online instead.
