Is Survey Network a Scam? You DO Get Paid Surveys, But…

join and earn money taking surveys online

Survey Network is a survey site for UK residents that provide opportunities for the average person to earn money by answering online surveys. These surveys come from 3rd party local and foreign companies who are seeking the opinions of their target demographic to improve products and services.

On their front page they advertise that you can earn as much as £10 per survey, in my review below you’ll learn whether that’s actually true or just a bunch of lies. Is Survey network a scam or a legit way to earn money taking surveys?

Let’s find out!

By the way I also recommend you check out “get-paid-to” sites like Swagbucks where in addition to taking surveys there are also many other ways to earn like by completing offers, playing games, watching videos, shopping, and more.

What Is Survey Network?

Survey Network is a survey panel that lets you express your thoughts and opinions on various products and services by taking surveys, in return for your time they pay you a little cash.

They’ve been around since 2009 and are currently owned and operated by an American market research company called SurveyEveryone Group Inc.

How To Join Survey Network?

Survey Network is free to join, but currently they only accept people from the UK.

If you’re from the USA you may want to check out These Extra Income Sites instead

To register as a new member all you have to do is fill in the sign up sheet with your name, email, birthdate, and create a password. Then you’ll have to check your email and click the verification link.

After confirming your email you’ll be taken to your first survey which is a demographics profiler, they will ask you questions about your education, marital status, income, hobbies, interests, etc. which allows them to send you the appropriate surveys.

After completing the profiler survey you’ll be rewarded with a £1 bonus.

From there you’re ready to start earning money by taking surveys.

Check Email For Survey Invitations

After you’ve registered you can check your user dashboard and click the “Surveys” section to see if there are any surveys available for you to take. If there aren’t any you can check back later on.

They will also email you whenever there’s a survey opportunity available to you, you’ll usually get survey invites at least 2-3 times a week so check your inbox often.

Surveys are basically multiple choice questions you have to answer. Typically a survey will take 10-20 minutes to complete and the pay is usually around 25 to 75 pence per survey.

Some people think they can get through it quickly by answering randomly, but this doesn’t work! You HAVE to answer correctly because if they find out any inconsistencies in your answers they will ban you and keep whatever money you’ve earned up to that point.

Getting Disqualified Over and Over!

Just because you’ve been invited to take a survey it doesn’t always mean you get to actually complete it and get paid.

You’ll have to take a screener test at the beginning of the survey, this is a brief 2-3 minute questionnaire to see if you’re the right candidate for the survey. Most of the time after the questionnaire you’ll see a message that says something along the lines of:

“Sorry, unfortunately you didn’t qualify this time.”

In my personal experience it takes many many many tries to find a survey that I DO qualify for, and by that time I would have wasted god knows how much of my time answering those darn screening questions.

This is why I highly recommend you join “get-paid-to” sites like Swagbucks instead where surveys aren’t the only way to earn. There are other paid activities where you don’t need to qualify to earn such as watching videos, playing games, doing offers, and much more.

Earning Potential – Only Extra Income

earn as much as $10 per survey

Survey Network advertises that you can earn as much as £10 per survey, but I can tell you right now that is only partially true.

Yes, there ARE surveys that pay as much has £10 or even more, but these surveys are extremely rare to come by. Chances are you won’t be given these high paying surveys, and even if you’re invited to start one you probably won’t qualify for it.

Typically the surveys that you do get pay in the range of 25 to 75 pence. So don’t get your hopes up thinking you can earn £10 per survey.

How many surveys you qualify for depends largely on your demographics and how you filled out your profile questionnaire. But my advice is to not expect to make any more than chump change, maybe £5 to £10 per month at best.

If you’re interested in making a full time online income, I recommend you to see my Top Work At Home Recommendation instead which is a top-rated training platform that taught me how to earn $1000+ per month with a blogging business.

How Does Survey Network Pay You?

You can request payment via with Paypal or Moneybookers (Skrill) once you have accrued earnings of at least £25.

Once you have requested payout you will receive it within about 1-3 days.

Honestly £25 will probably take you months and months to accrue due to the fact that it’s so hard to qualify for surveys, and that the typical survey only pay peanuts.

What’s Good About Survey Network

  • Free to register for an account
  • Pays you £1 bonus for joining
  • Pays with Paypal

What’s Bad About Survey Network

  • Only opened to UK residents
  • No other way to earn besides surveys
  • Hard to qualify for surveys
  • Low paying, only good for making chump change
  • High £25 payout minimum

Is Survey Network a Scam or Legit?

Survey Network appears to be scam-free. Although they are legit there’s nothing special about them and I don’t think you should be wasting your time with them.

The biggest problem with Survey Network is that they’re what I call a “pure” survey site, the only way to earn is by taking surveys. This wouldn’t be an issue if surveys were a good way to earn, but they aren’t! It’s tough to find one that you actually qualify for, and they pay is a pretty low return on your time invested.

On top of that they only pay out when you’ve reached £25 in earnings, this may not seem like much but when you’re earning 25-75 pence at a time it will take you a VERY long time to reach it!

Better Ways To Make Money Online

If you’re looking for a reliable way to earn extra income online I suggest you join “get-paid-to” sites instead. These are sites that offer you a bunch of different ways to earn money. You can earn by taking surveys, playing games, watching videos, clicking advertisements, completing cash offers, downloading apps, and more.

The “get-paid-to” site I highly recommend is Swagbucks because they’ve been around since 2008 and they’ve paid out over $300 million to their members since then. I’ve been paid by them multiple times before, so I know they’re 100% legit and will pay you too.

But regardless of what site you join, these survey sites and other similar things won’t be enough to earn you any substantial income. They are only good for making some small pocket change every month.

If you’re looking to make a full time income online then see my Top Work At Home Recommendation instead which is a top-rated training program that taught me how to build a blogging business that generates a 4-figure monthly passive income.

If you follow the training of my top recommendation you can eventually create a job-replacing level of income, but you shouldn’t expect any quick results. Building a blogging business takes at least 6-12 months to see any major profits.

That’s all I have for this Survey Network review. If you have any thoughts or comments you’d like to share about them or anything else I’ve discussed in this post, drop me a comment down below.
