Is RewardBee a Scam? Don’t Believe The Positive Reviews!

be rewarded for taking surveys playing games

RewardBee is a site where you can BEE rewarded for doing easy tasks like sharing your opinions via quick online surveys.

I wanted to do a review to see if they’re a scam or a legit extra income site worth using. I’ve seen lots of positive reviews on RewardBee but upon investigating I found something REALLY crappy about them that I think you should be aware of.

I have to say that I prefer my Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites over it, but you may have a different opinion.

In this review I’ll go over the good, the bad, and the ugly so you’ll know if it’s a site you’d want to join.

RewardBee Review

Name: RewardBee
Website: rewardbee.com
Type: Paid surveys
Membership Price: FREE

What Is RewardBee?

RewardBee is a survey site that allows their members to share their opinions in exchange for points which can be redeemed for magazine subscriptions. This is the crappy thing about them I was talking about earlier, unlike traditional survey sites that pay cash, this site pays in magazine subscriptions only!

There’s pretty much zero point in joining them if you’re in this to make extra income online. If RewardBee were to pay cash then I’d consider using them, but for now I’d stick with these GPT Sites That Pay Cash.

Getting Started

RewardBee only accepts members from the USA, you also need to be 18+ to join.

If you’d like to sign up you just have to visit rewardbee.com and fill out a simple registration form with your name, email, and then create a password.

Taking Surveys

Once you’ve signed up you can log in to your main user hub where you’ll see a long list of surveys available for you to take. These surveys come in a variety of topics such as politics, lifestyle, health, parenting, beauty, and much more.

These surveys consists of about 10-15 questions which will take you probably no more than 5 minutes or so to complete.

Each survey completed pays about 30 points. Each magazine subscription costs about 10-30 points each, so by completing just one survey you’ll be able to get at least 1-3 magazine subscriptions.

Referring Friends

On the front page of their website they advertise that at RewardBee you can earn rewards by taking surveys, playing games, and referring friends, but so far I have not seen a referral program.

In their FAQ page they simply states that their referral program is “coming soon” so who knows when that will be available.

Redeeming Points

The points you earn taking surveys can only be redeemed for digital or mailed magazine subscriptions, there’s no way to turn it into cash, gift cards, or anything else.

The good news is they do have a wide selection of 70+ magazine subscriptions to choose from, you can find magazines on anything from cars, bicycles, travel, food, home, garden, and more.

Each magazine subscription has anywhere from 12-24 issues and cost 10-30 points.

Digital subscriptions will be emailed to you right away as soon as the issue is published, mailed subscriptions can take anywhere from 8 to 16 weeks to be delivered to you.

Why RewardBee Is a Waste Of Time

No Cash Payments

The biggest problem by far with RewardBee is that you can only trade in your points for magazine subscriptions. Sure I like reading fitness magazines when I see them available at the gym, but I sure as hell ain’t gonna waste my time taking surveys to pay for them!

If you’re interested in earning real rewards like cash or gift cards then see my Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites instead.

No Referral Program

Some people can make a crap ton of money with survey sites but it’s not from taking surveys, it’s by referring others to join the survey site. You see, most survey sites have a referral program that lets you earn a percentage of what your referrals earn.

So if you have 1000s of referrals this can add up to a sizable part time or even full time income.

Unfortunately RewardBee’s referral program is “coming soon” which basically means they don’t have one.

Is RewardBee a Scam?

RewardBee is definitely not a scam, they are free to join and are a legit site you can go on to earn yourself some magazine subscriptions. However, they are not for people who are looking to earn extra income online since points cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.

If you really like magazines then I suppose this site could work for you, but personally I think they’re a waste of time and would not recommend them. I suggest you see my Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites instead which are sites that do pay you cash and gift cards, and they also offer many different ways to earn.

But keep in mind that survey sites and other similar things won’t make you more than extra income.
