Intro: What Is Part Survey About?

Part Survey is another survey website that pays you for your opinions by asking you to fill out surveys. Part Survey claims to pay you $14 for every survey you complete, this is astronomically higher than what you can expect to earn with other survey sites out there. Unfortunately when things sound too good to be true, they usually are.

There are thousands of online paid survey sites out there, and many of them are actually legit and do pay their users, but there are also plenty out there looking to scam you. So is Part Survey a scam?

How Does Part Survey Work? Ways To Earn:

After you sign up you just go to your account and press the “survey” button, and you’ll be able to start filling out surveys. They’ll let you do up to 3 surveys per day, and each one pays you $14, so that means you can make just over $40 a day and just under $300 a week.

They also have an affiliate problem where you can refer other people to sign up. Each referral that signs up through your affiliate link will earn you $15, plus 20% of whatever they earn. After you sign up they also automatically credit your account with a bonus $30 to start you off.

Pretty good deal huh? Well, don’t get too excited because this is a pretty serious red flag, legit survey sites never pay this much, not even close. The most you can earn from legit survey sites are a few dollars a month, you know, coffee money.

You can almost make a living from $300 a week, especially if you make many referrals on top of that, and who wouldn’t want to fill out surveys for a living? You can work from home, be your own boss, no skills required, you just click buttons all day and get paid. Unfortunately whenever something sounds ridiculously good like this, there’s always a scam behind it.

Quick Tip: Swagbucks and Inbox Pays are both long-standing legit survey sites with a great reputation, they’re also currently offering a $5 sign up bonus. I know it’s less than the $30 offered by Part Survey, but trust me, you won’t actually receive Part Survey’s $30!

How Do You Get Paid?

Their minimum payout threshold is set at $700! They say that once you’ve reached that threshold you can then request to get paid through either Paypal or Payza, and it will take about 14 working days for them to send you the money.

Most legitimate survey sites that I have reviewed have payout thresholds at around $20-$50, and most of them pays you $0.50 to $5 per survey (the majority paying on the lower end of that spectrum). So you may be thinking “well, they do pay $14 per survey which is higher than all the other survey sites, so the higher payout threshold also reflects this accordingly…”  True, but this is just one of the many major red flags about them.

I will go over all of the red flags below, and it’s hard to see how they’re not a scam after you take them all into account.

Clues That It’s a Scam / User Complaints

I’ve been reviewing online paid survey sites for a while now, so I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from survey sites that are legitimate, and how to tell them apart from the ones that are scams. There are many things about Part Survey that sticks out from the rest, and this means either one of two things: they’re just the best paying survey site on the planet, or they’re a scam.

Clue #1 – $14 Per Survey

One of the things that sticks out like a sore thumb with Part Survey is their promise of paying you $14 for every survey you complete, this is unheard of in the online paid survey industry.

The pay is way too high compared to other survey sites which only pays an average of $0.50 to $5 (most paying on the lower end of that range), and such high pay most likely mean they don’t intend on paying you. But it’s a good attention grabber though, and desperate people looking to make enough money online for a living are drawn to this kind of stuff like bald men are drawn to comb overs.

Clue #2 – $700 Minimum Payout Threshold

The vast majority of legitimate survey sites that I’ve reviewed so far have a minimum payout threshold of around $20 to $50, with the lowest one being Swagbucks where you can start redeeming rewards at only $3.

Part Survey has a minimum payout threshold of $700! Does that automatically make them a scam? No, but it’s definitely a big sign that they are.

minimum payout

Think about it, if they’re planning on scamming you then they wouldn’t want to make their payout threshold low, because then you’ll find out very quickly that they don’t pay. With a $700 payout threshold, perhaps they just want you to spend as much time on their site as possible.

There’s nothing sadder than seeing your “earnings” go up in your account dashboard along with high hopes, only to find out after you’ve reached the threshold that they don’t really pay.

I have indeed found quite a few user reviews saying just that….they don’t pay, I have posted some screen shots below for you to see.

Clue #3 – Payout Takes 14 Days

Most legit survey sites takes only 24hrs at most to send you your money after you requested it, but Part Survey takes 14 days! Actually that’s 14 business days, which means weekends don’t even count, and so the actual waiting time is even longer.

Why in the world would they need 14 days to send you your money via Paypal? If you’ve ever sent money to someone else via Paypal before, then you’ll know that payments are almost instant. Making you wait 14 days is probably just another attempt to stall cause they don’t really plan on paying you.

Clue #4 – No Survey Profile To Fill Out

The way legitimate online survey sites work is that anyone can sign up for the survey site, but the surveys that are available to you is dependent upon your geological location and demographics.

Legit survey sites will always ask you to fill out your profile with a questionnaire so that the appropriate surveys can be made available to people like you. The questionnaire may include things like what’s your age, gender, location, job, education, income, hobbies, spending habits, and other things like that.

Part Survey has none of that, to start doing surveys all you need is to fill out a login and password. No questionnaires, no profile, they don’t know anything about me! Companies don’t just pay random people for their opinions, they’re looking for people who fits the demographics of their customer base. So this is a really big red flag that Part Survey is a scam.

Clue #5 – $30 Bonus Money

Many legit survey sites often times do offer you some kind of bonus money just for signing up, and Part Survey does that also.

The only thing unusual about it is that they offer you $30, which is much higher than what other survey sites offer. The highest I’ve seen so far is only $5 from Swagbucks and Inbox Pays, and in my opinion anything higher than $10 would be a red flag.

My guess is that they set the bonus money so high is just to grab your attention, and because they know you won’t ever receive it.

User Complaints – Not Getting Paid:

If all of the above clues still don’t convince you that they’re a scam, then let’s look at what other people have said about their experiences when it comes to getting paid. I have found nothing but bad reviews on Part Survey, many of them saying that they just  don’t pay, take a look:

survey site never pays people

scammers ripping people off

customer complain dont even waste your time

Final Verdict: Is Part Survey a Scam?

All the evidence I have found leads me to believe strongly that they are probably a scam, and that you will waste a lot of time for absolutely nothing in return except for crushed dreams.

There are plenty of legitimate survey sites out there that actually do pay their users, but Part Survey isn’t one of them.

If you really want to make money doing surveys, the top 2 sites I usually recommend are Swagbucks (read review) and Inbox Pays (read review), both these sites have excellent reputation and offer quick and easy payments. You can also earn doing other things too besides surveys, such as watching videos, clicking ads, playing games, and more.

But each site won’t let you earn that much, so the best strategy I think is to sign up for as many as these sites as you can which will maximize how much you can earn doing these things. But make sure you’re signing up to legit sites so you don’t waste your time. I recommend you check out my list of favorite survey sites here that I’ve already reviewed and know DO pay.

Not that I’m advocating doing online surveys (on legit sites) as a great way to make money online, it’s not. It’s one of the most boring, low paying, and frustration ways.

Why Online Surveys Is a BAD Way To Make Money Online

To make money doing surveys you’ll first have to qualify for them, and often times you find out you don’t qualify only after you’re already halfway deep into it, therefore wasting your time and energy for nothing.

Then there’s the issue of low pay, most of the time you will earn about $0.50 to $1 for every survey you do qualify for and complete. It takes an average of 10-15mins to complete a survey, so that’s maybe $4/hr at best, but that hourly estimate becomes much lower after you factor in how many surveys you didn’t qualify for but already wasted time doing for no pay.

The sites that don’t come with any of these issues are unfortunately most likely scams.
