If you’ve ever wondered whether you can make money doing fun things online like playing games, watching videos, and giving your opinion on various things, the good news is you definitely can!
In this Grab Points review I’m going to go through how it works, how to earn money, how they’ll pay you, and whether GrabPoints is a scam or legit.
Although there are many scams out there, the paid-to site idea itself is a legit deal, advertisers need your help via your opinions and your interactions with their products, and they’re willing to pay you for it.
Unfortunately you can forget about making anything more significant than the amount of change in the average 5 year old’s piggy bank. I’ll tell you the truth right now, you won’t be able to make a full time living on any paid-to site, these sites are only good for making chump change because they don’t give you much for your time.

Intro To GrabPoints
Type: Get-paid-to site
Membership Price: Free to join
My Rating: 2.9 out of 5
GrabPoints started in 2014 and they are a paid-to site (aka rewards site) that rewards you for doing things that most people are already doing on a daily basis anyway, such as watching TV, downloading apps, signing up for things, and giving their 2 cents on various subjects. As their name suggests, you don’t earn money/cash directly, instead you earn points which can then later on be redeemed for cash rewards.
They are predominately a mobile app based platform, and some tasks such as downloading apps cannot be done via desktop. There are many fun things on the platform that you can do, and it’s a great way to kill some time. Why not earn a few nickles and dimes while you’re on the bus to work/school, getting a haircut, waiting in line, and during other boring times?
Get paid-to sites are quite a bit different from survey sites. Survey sites are sites where the only way to earn is by doing surveys, whereas with paid-to sites you also get to do surveys, but there are plenty of other ways to earn as well. To maximize your earning potential you should sign up for as many of both as you can.
Different Ways To Earn Points
As a paid-to site, GrabPoints offer you a variety of fun ways to earn. You can participate in as many of these things as you like, and some activities has no daily limits to how much of it you can do. After you complete the activity you will see points placed in your account. So you may be wondering how much are points worth? You’re looking at redeeming 1 USD for every 1100 points earned.
This is by far the best way to earn on GrabPoints, because it pays the most points for your time. In my current dashboard I’m seeing surveys that pay anywhere from 200 to 3000 points, so that translate to about $0.20 to $3.00. Every survey is of a different length and usually takes around 5 to 20 minutes to complete, but the longer the survey the more you’ll be paid.
Unfortunately like most online paid surveys out there, you will usually find them telling you that you don’t “qualify” for the actual paying survey, sometimes after you’ve already completed half of it.
With GrabPoints I tried one of their surveys, I started a survey and within a few questions I was taken to a blank page stating “respondent not found,” I assumed that meant I didn’t qualify.
Don’t qualify? No pay. And in my experience with these paid survey things, you won’t qualify the large majority of the time!
Sign Up For Offers
This is another high paying earning method. Depending on the offer, it can pay anywhere from 30 to 20,000 points, which is about $0.027 to $20. There are 2 main type of offers: the 1st type is completely free, the 2nd type requires you to spend money or at least put down your credit card info. Although the 2nd type is more risky, they do pay out a lot more points.
Some examples of offers include things like registering for a new account on a website, downloading software, signing up for a casino account and making a deposit, buying things on a specific website, and doing surveys.
You need to be on a mobile phone to access some of these available apps on your dashboard. They’re not as high paying as surveys and offers, but you can still earn about 200 points on average per download, I even see one right now that offers 13,500 points.
They pay you 7 points for every 3 videos you watch, each video is approximately 1 minute in length, and you can watch them an unlimited amount of times throughout the day. These videos have ads in them and you have to watch those too, so if you have ad blocker you’ll have to disable it. This sounds like the perfect stress free way to earn money online, but in reality 7 points is worth only a fraction of a penny, and it takes up 3 whole minutes of your life. If you watch videos non stop you’ll be earning only about $0.13 an hour!
I know some of you may think “great! I can play games all day and get paid for it..” Yes, but you won’t make much, and actually playing games and watching videos are 2 of the worst ways to earn on GrabPoints. Yes, they are the easiest and most fun ways to earn, but they both pay you almost nothing. By playing games you earn just 1 point per minute played, that’s only 60 points an hour, which translates to an hourly wage of 5 cents an hour!
You can also earn points for inviting friends to sign up and participate at GrabPoints. You will earn 1 points for every friend you refer, and you will also earn 500 points when your friend earns 1000 points.
$5 Sign Up Bonus
Currently Grab Points is giving away $5 to users just for joining. If you’d like to GRAB your free $5 sign up bonus you can do so by joining GrabPoints by clicking HERE.
How Do You Get Paid?
Once you’ve earned a bunch of points you can redeem them at the rewards store for either cash or gift cards. Once you’ve redeemed your points, you will receive your rewards in 1-3 days.
Their selection of gift cards aren’t that big, but they do have some good ones in there like Amazon, Starbucks, iTunes, Best Buy, and GAP. If you don’t like gift cards you can select a cash payout via either Skrill or Paypal.
The Amazon gift cards and Paypal start at increments of just 3000 points which equals $3, this is considered a very low payout threshold compared to other sites that often have payout thresholds of $20 to $50.
Other get-paid-to sites with low payout thresholds include Swagbucks (read review) which you can also start redeeming for as low as $3.
Final Verdict: Scam Or Legit?
It does appear that GrabPoints is a legitimate paid-to site, they do award points to your account as you earn, and I have found users reporting that they have gotten paid.
But just because it’s legitimate and not a scam, does not mean I recommend it. I think it’s a big waste of time and is not the answer if making money is the goal for you. If you would still like to give them a go, you can sign up for GrabPoints here or by clicking the link below:
If earning small amounts of money isn’t a problem for you, then also consider other get-paid-to sites like Swagbucks (read review) and Inbox Pays (read review), both these sites are highly recommended because of their long-standing excellent reputation and easy and quick payouts.
