Do you spend a lot of time on the internet? Gift Hunter Club is a get-paid-to (GPT) site that pays their users to doing simple online tasks like signing up for websites, answering surveys, referring others, and more. They pay their users with points which is worth $0.01 each, these points can later be redeemed for real cash you can spend.
I know this all sound like easy money, so what’s the catch? Is Gift Hunter Club a scam? Well, they’re actually legit, but you won’t be able to earn much doing their tasks. As with all GPT sites, they’re all low paying and making a living off of them isn’t possible.
As far as GPT sites go Gift Hunter Club is not my favorite, but they’re not the worst either. I usually recommend another GPT site called Swagbucks (read review,) they have more ways to earn and easier and quicker payouts.
In this Gift Hunter Club review I’ll go over how you can earn on their site, how they pay you your earnings, and whether they’re worth your time or not. But if you’re looking to earn the big bucks and not a small extra income, check out my free guide below instead:

Intro – Gift Hunter Club Review
Name: Gift Hunter Club
Type: Get-paid-to (GPT) site
Membership Price: Absolutely free
My Rating: 2.5 out of 5
I gave Gift Hunter Club a rating of 2.5 out of 5 because although they are definitely a legit GPT site, they are far from the greatest. They only offer a few different ways to earn and all of them are low paying. They’re not worth your time if you’re looking to make a significant income online.
If you’re just bored and looking for a way to pass time and maybe make a small extra income, then these GPT sites can be quite fun and addictive. But even so, there are better GPT sites that offer more ways to earn and quicker payouts, I highly recommend Swagbucks (read review) over Gift Hunter Club.
How To Earn Money At Gift Hunter Club?
Offers are basically where you need to sign up for websites, they can either be free offers or paid offers. Free offers usually pay around $0.25 to $2 while paid offers pay $2 to $10.
Free offers don’t cost a dime to do and usually involve having to enter your email and other info into a sign up box, or you may be asked to download something or play a game for a length of time.
Paid offers are a little trickier. Some require you hand over your credit card info to sign up for a free trial, and some may even require you to spend money. It’s tricky because you need to keep track of when your free trial ends and cancel before then or else your credit card will be charged.
Surveys are a very popular ways to earn on GPT sites, they typically take 10 to 30 minutes to complete and pay $0.25 to $2.50, sometimes they pay more but that’s rare and hard to qualify for.
First you need to take a screening survey (unpaid) to see if you qualify for the paid survey, if not then you can try again. But honestly this is a waste of time because in my experience you will rarely qualify, so you’ll be wasting a lot of time doing screening surveys.
Tasks are pretty easy to do and pay around 1/2 a penny to a few pennies each. They are simple things like being asked to transcribe a small clip of audio, sort through tweets, categorize pictures, and that sort of thing.
You’ll be taken to a 3rd party crowdsourcing website and be asked to sign up there first before you can do the tasks.
Gift Hunter Club referral program isn’t too shabby but it’s nothing special. You will have your own unique referral link to promote wherever you want (blog, social media..etc) and if someone signs up to Gift Hunter Club under your link, you get 10% of whatever your referrals earn.
Using Their Mobile App
You can find Gift Hunter Club’s mobile app in Google Play Store. By downloading it to your phone you can do tasks and earn while on the go. This is pretty useful because who really wants to sit on the desktop computer all day doing tasks to earn pennies? But this is really useful for down times when you’re waiting for the bus, waiting in line at the bank, waiting for class, etc.
Each month Gift Hunter Club has a contest of who can do the most tasks and refer the most people to join in the 30 day period. The top 10 winners can earn cash prizes, the #1 winner can usually win about $3 to $5.
Sign Up Bonus
As soon as you join Gift Hunter Club you will be credited with $0.75 automatically, this is their sign up bonus to you. While this is pretty awesome, it’s actually quite a small bonus. Other sites like Swagbucks (read review) and Inbox Pays (read review) give you a $5 sign up bonus.
How Does Gift Hunter Club Pay You?
There’s currently 2 different ways to get paid: Paypal and Amazon gift cards.
You can trade in your points for a cash out as soon as your earnings reach a minimum of $5, this is pretty awesome because a lot of other GPT sites often make you earn at least $25+ before paying you.
It costs 520 points to convert to a $5 cash reward, but it only cost 1000 points to convert to $10, so it seems they are trying to encourage you to earn more before cashing out.
Once you requested a payout you will receive it in about 1-3 days. If you’d like to receive your earnings even faster, make sure to check out Swagbucks (read review) where you can start redeeming points for cash as soon as you’ve earned just $3.
You Won’t Make Much
All of the tasks you complete will be low paying relative to amount of time spent doing them, hourly wise your pay will be much lower than minimum wage. Realistically you can only expect to make about $10 to $50 per month on sites like these.
So this is definitely not a way to earn a living online, if that’s what you want then check out my #1 recommended way of making money online instead.
Not Many Ways To Earn
There’s really only 3 main ways to earn: doing offers, tasks, and surveys. While this may sound okay, there are other sites out there like Swagbucks (read review) and Inbox Pays (read review) where you can also earn by watching videos, playing games, listening to the radio, and many things that are more fun to do.
Their Website Uses 2 Languages
If you go on Gift Hunter Club’s website you will see that they use Spanish as well as English. It’s not like they write everything in both languages, more like it’s just randomly used interchangeably.
On one page they’ll have everything in English, then on another page the instructions would just randomly be all in Spanish.
This is very confusing when you’re trying to read instructions on how to use their site. I have no idea why they do this but it’s very confusing.
Is Gift Hunter Club a Scam?
Gift Hunter Club is definitely not a scam, they are actually a pretty decent GPT site.
I love how they have a really low minimum payout amount, they pay you as soon as your earnings reach just $5. They have some okay ways to earn, but the variety is not great. The tasks are low paying, and the surveys are hard to qualify for.
Overall they are not a bad GPT site, but there are much better options out there like Swagbucks (read review) where there are many more ways to earn, they offer a bigger sign up bonus of $5 instead of $0.75, and also their minimum payout amount is slightly less at just $3. Also check out my other favorite GPT sites, most offer $5 sign up bonuses as well.
But regardless of which GPT site you choose, they’re both not a viable way to earn anything significant. They’re only good for making a small extra income, and if you’re looking to earn more you should check out my #1 recommendation instead where a full time income is possible.
