So here is another site that claims to pay you to do fun and easy things online like opening emails and playing games, but is this all just BS? If you’re here looking to make extra income online, then I’m sure you’ve seen the plethora of work-at-home programs out there each promising you lots of glory for little work.
There ARE legit money making sites out there, but to find them you gotta sort through the scams first. So is InboxPays.com a scam or a legit site that really pays?
They’re a typical GPT or “get-paid-to” site, you can earn a little pocket change here and there by doing some simple tasks. They’re very similar to the more popular Swagbucks.
In this InboxPays.com review I’m going to go over the various way to earn on this site, how they’d pay you, and whether it’s legit or not.
But I must warn you, ALL of these get-paid-to sites on the internet are low paying. How low paying? Like… you can make $10-$50 a month at best. If you’re here looking to make a part time or full time online income, forget these low paying time wasters and check out a free guide I wrote where I show you best way to make real money online:
Intro – What Is InboxPays About?
Type: Get-Paid-To Site
Cost: Free to join
My Rating: 2.6 out of 5
InboxPays is a get-paid-to (GPT) site that started around 2009, they are based in Houston, Texas and their parent company is A&A Marketing Inc. They offer their users various to earn a bit of extra cash doing very easy and simple tasks such as reading emails, doing cash offers, playing games, and referring other people to their site.
Only people from the USA can sign up at this time. If you’re American and you’re ready to join them, you can sign up for InboxPays HERE.
Their slogan is “Make lots of cash on a single click!” but I doubt that’s true, or at the very least I’d question what they mean by “lots” of cash.
I have reviewed many many GPT sites and other similar money-making sites on my blog, and I’ve seen both legit sites and scams. All legit sites are low paying, so I don’t know why they would say you can make “lots” of cash on a “single click.” But let’s dive further into how you can make money.
How Do You Earn Money At InboxPays?
Well first of all, they give you a $5 sign up bonus, so you’re off to a good start. If you’d like to grab your free money right now, just sign up HERE and make sure you confirm your email. Your account will then be credited with the $5 shortly.
At InboxPays they offer you a variety of ways to earn money. Most of these are complete risk free to complete, but some require you to sign up for free trials where you need to put up your credit card or Paypal info. You can earn by doing the following:
There is a thing called “cash mail” where they send you emails and all you have to do is opening and reading them. This is obviously super easy, but unfortunately they only send you a maximum of 3 emails per day, and each one pays from 2 to 25 cents, usually on the lower end of that range.
Doing Cash Offers
There are cash offers that are both free and ones that require money or credit card to complete.
A typical free cash offer is something like when they ask you sign up for a website with your email, or registering for a free trial with your credit card info (so it’s only free if you cancel before the subscription begins.)
There’s also offers where you’d need to spend money to complete, such as joining a website and spending a certain amount of money there… that’s only fine if it’s a website you already planned on spending money at anyways.
Free offers are the lowest paying, and the more risky the offer is to you the higher paying it is. Typically free offers you can make around $0.25 to $2, and for paid offers you can earn up to $75.
Spinning The Jackpot Wheel
There is a game you can play called “Spin The Wheel” where you can win the jackpot. Upon joining you get 2 free spins, you earn more spins by completing the aforementioned cash offers.
Like almost every other GPT site, they have a referral program where you can earn money by referring other people to InboxPays. You can earn 10% of your referrals’ earnings. Unless you have 100s of referrals, this is not going to make you very much.
Using Clip Coupons
They also give you coupons where you can save a few cents when you go buy things, mostly everyday items at a grocery store. This is not a way to make money, but rather save money.
How Does InboxPays Pay You?
The only method of receiving a payment is via Paypal, which is fine by me because I love the convenience of it, beats a check every time. But if you don’t have a Paypal account then you need to get one, otherwise all your earnings would just be stuck in your account forever!
Their minimum payout threshold is a staggering $50, which is pretty darn high for a GPT site.
They also pay in $50 increments, so that means if you made $99 this month (unlikely to make this much, but just using this number to make a point) you will only be paid $50 and the $49 will roll over to the next pay period. So if you make $100 you will get all $100, but anything in between $50 to $100 will be rolled over. The pay period is on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Honestly it will probably take you at least a month to see your first $50 if you’re only doing free offers.
If you’re looking for a GPT that has a lower payout threshold, check out Swagbucks (read review) which pays via Paypal starting at just $25, they also offer payment via gift cards where you can start redeeming at just $3.
If you’re sick and tired of earning pennies and getting excited over making a dollar, check out my #1 recommended way of earning money online where you can potentially make a full time income.
Final Verdict: Scam or Legit?
InboxPays seems to be another legit GPT site, but just because they’re legit does not mean they’re worth your time, especially if you’re looking to make a real income online.
They offer some easy ways to earn, but the free methods are all super duper low paying, and so to reach your first $50 payout it will take you at least a month. If you don’t mind this and would still like to join, you can either sign up for InboxPays here or by clicking the link below:
If you really want to make money on GPT sites, I’d recommend that you go with better sites like Swagbucks (read review) which has a better reputation, offer a $5 sign up bonus, and have easier and quicker payouts.
Like I’ve said all throughout this post, all GPT sites and other similar things like survey sites are a waste of time. If you want to get excited over making $10-$50 every few months for hours and hours of clicking and hard work, then maybe it can work for you.
But if you’re looking to make the kind of income that can allow you quit your day job, I highly recommend you check out a free guide I wrote where I talk about my #1 recommended way of making money online.
My #1 recommendation is 100% legit and I recommend it because it’s a business model that’s suitable for the complete beginner to get into, and the income potential is virtually limitless. It is a good opportunity for anyone looking to build a genuine work-at-home online business, but it does require real work and it is not another get-rich-quick scheme.
