Inbox Pounds Review – Scam Or Legit Paid Emails & Shopping?

paid email and cash for shopping

If you are anything like me you love going on the internet and probably jump online as soon as you get home from work. So why not monetize your time on the web?

Reward sites out there like Inbox Pounds pay you to do tasks online you’re probably doing already like reading emails, watching videos, playing games, and more.

Inbox Pounds is the UK version of InboxDollars (USA.) I already did a review of InboxDollars and while they’re not the best they aren’t the worst either. So let’s see if Inbox Pounds is a scam or legit.

In this Inbox Pounds review I will go over how you earn, how they pay, some things I don’t like about them, and whether they’re worth the time or not.

Intro – Inbox Pounds Review

Name: Inbox Pounds
Type: Get-paid-to (GPT) site
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 2.1 out of 5

online rewards club paid cash taking surveys

I gave Inbox Pounds a 2.1 out of 5 because from my research they are a legit reward site with some great ways to earn, but they do have a few things I don’t like about them.

The biggest problem I have with Inbox Pounds is that they only pay via check or gift cards, I always think Paypal is the most convenient way to get paid and they don’t have that option. Who wants a slow ass check anyway? And I have no interest in gift cards as I rarely shop online.

But it seems they are legit and do pay, so if you’d like to join you can do so HERE and get your £1 sign up bonus.

Ways To Earn Money At Inbox Pounds

Completing Surveys

There’s always surveys available for you to take, but whether you qualify or not is another thing. Typically you’ll start a survey and then halfway through you’ll see a message that you didn’t qualify, you can try again but my experience with online surveys is that more often than not you won’t qualify.

If you do qualify you’ll get paid around £0.50 to £3 when you complete it. Before you start taking the survey they’ll let you know exactly how much it pays and the approximate time it takes to complete it.

Cash Offers

If you don’t know what a cash offer is, it usually involves signing up for something, like a free trial or a website. There are offers that are free to do, and others that require you to give over your credit card info or even spend money.

The pay for doing free offers are similar to surveys, about £0.50 to £3 each, while the ones requiring credit card info or a purchase pays a lot more at £5-15. Technically the credit card info offers are free to do, but only if you cancel before your free trial ends or else your card will start getting charged!

Searching The Web

Inbox Pounds has a search bar you can use to search the web, so just use this instead of going to Google or Bing.

This is a very easy way to earn, but very low paying. First of all you’re limited to 30 searches a day, and every 2 searches will earn you 0.01 pence. So at most you can earn 0.15 pence per day.

Also the searches must come naturally, if they detect that you’re abusing the search bar just to earn then they could suspend your account or take away any earnings you have.

Reading Emails

You will earn 0.01 pence for reading 1 email, and you will get up to 3 emails per day. All you need to do is open them and click on the “confirm paid email” button and you’ll be credited.

In the email you’ll also receive a link to a website with an offer, these offers are just like regular cash offers and are optional to sign up or not, but you can earn £0.50 to £3 if you do them.

Playing Games

You’ll be linked to a site called GSN Cash Games, it’s a site where you can deposit real money to enter cash tournaments.

So you don’t actually earn money playing games, but Inbox Pounds will give you a percentage of your deposit back to you if you deposit on GSN Cash Games. But this is gambling and you can lose money doing this, so I don’t recommend it.

If you rather not gamble then check out Swagbucks (read review) instead where you can earn money playing FREE games.

More Ways To Earn…

£1 Sign Up Bonus

Inbox Pounds will give you £1 just for signing up and confirming your email. If you’re ready to join now you can sign up HERE and claim your free bonus money. But if £1 is too little for you, perhaps you’d like to join Swagbucks (read review) instead where they’re currently offering a $5 sign up bonus.

Referring Others

You’ll be given a unique referral link to promote. If someone joins under your link they become your referral and you get 10% of however much they earn.

This is the best way to earn because you’re earning money by using other people’s time and energy. But unless you can gather 100s and 1000s of active referrals then you won’t make much doing this.

How Does Inbox Pounds Pay You?

check and amazon gift cards payout options

Once you have earned at least £20 you can request a payout via either a mailed check or electronic gift cards.

This is the part I like least about Inbox Pounds, I really wish they offered Paypal or some other payout methods.

A check payout will take about 5-10 days to process, and another 2-4 weeks to arrive in the mail, and of course it will take another few weeks for it to clear in your bank account.

But at least they have gift cards which you can get much faster via email. Currently gift card options include some big retailers like Amazon.

If you don’t like these payout options, then check out Swagbucks (read review) and Inbox Pays (read review) instead, they both offer quick and easy payouts via Paypal and currently both offering a $5 sign up bonus.

The Negatives…

You Won’t Make Much

Inbox Pounds is just a typical reward site, and like all other similar sites they’re only good for a small extra income. If you log in everyday and do tasks, you may earn enough for a few cups of coffee at the end of the month.

If you’re looking for a way to earn more than extra income, then check out my #1 recommended way of making money online instead where you can learn to build a profitable blogging business that produces a full time online income.

No Paypal Option

I already mentioned several times about how much I dislike the fact they don’t have the Paypal payout option. Whenever I review a reward site, I always look at how quick and easy it would be to receive my earnings.

Forget about the check option it’s the worst, slow and…well, slow! Gift cards are okay, but not as useful as cold card cash via Paypal. So I have to take points off Inbox Pounds for not offering Paypal.

Final Verdict: Is Inbox Pounds a Scam?

Inbox Pounds is not a scam and is a legit reward site. They are an okay reward site for people living in the UK, they have some good ways to earn but their payout options are lacking.

If you’d still like to join, then you can sign up right now HERE. Make sure to confirm your email and as a new member you’ll also receive the £1 sign up bonus.

But there are better reward sites out there in my opinion, the favorite one is Swagbucks (read review.) They also accept people in the UK, currently have a bigger sign up bonus of $5, and they offer better payout options that includes Paypal.

But all reward sites won’t pay you enough to live a lavish lifestyle. If you’re looking to make the serious cash online then check out my #1 recommended way of making money online instead.
