At Inbox Dollars you can earn a little bit of money doing very simple tasks like Watching videos, playing games, doing surveys, and more. This is possible because certain brands want consumer opinions and they’re willing to pay you to give your 2 cents.
They are what is known as a rewards site, aka get-paid-to (GPT) site. You may have heard of the more famous Swagbucks (read review,) it is a very similar sort of thing.
There are a gazillion of these kinds of sites all over the internet, the majority are legit and do pay, but there are a small number of scams out there that will ban your account as soon as you want to cash out your earnings. So is Inbox Dollars a scam?
In this Inbox Dollars review I’m going to go over how it works, how you get paid, and finally whether they’re a scam or not.

Intro – Inbox Dollars Review
Name: Inbox Dollars
Type: Get-paid-to (GPT) site
Membership Price: Free To Join
My Rating: 2.3 out of 5
I rated InboxDollars a 2.3 out of 5 because I feel that they are one of the legit reward sites out there. I have found plenty of payment proof and positive user reviews. But ultimately it’s not a great way to make money because you can’t really earn very much on there.
They pay you to do simple tasks that are easy, and while easy may seem nice it is code word for “low pay.” If you’re trying to make real money, this ain’t going to work. Another big downside is they only pay you after you reached $30 in earnings. This doesn’t sound like much, but you’ll only earn a little at a time and so it will take you about a month to see that $30 paid out to you.
Wanna get paid faster? Other similar reward sites like Swagbucks (read review) let you redeem cash rewards as soon as you reach just $3 in earnings. They also offer a $5 bonus for new people who sign up right now.
But even Swagbucks is just as low paying. If you want to make a full time living online, then don’t waste anymore time with these reward sites (time wasters,) instead have a look at my #1 recommended way of making money online instead.
Earning Money At Inbox Dollars
Surveys is one of the staples of a reward site, every site has them. It’s easy to take surveys, you just answer questions truthfully and you get paid around $0.25 to $2 per survey, each one usually takes 10 to 30 minutes to do.
The biggest problem with surveys on these reward sites is that they are all difficult to qualify for. Most of the time you will be wasted doing screening surveys only to realize you don’t qualify, and these screening surveys are a waste of time because if you don’t qualify then you don’t get paid anything.
Doing Cash Offers
Cash offers are a pretty easy way to earn, and the pay is not bad. There are both offers that are free and those that are paid and require you to spend money. Free offers you can make around the same as surveys, $0.25 to $2 per offer, paid offers usually pay $2 to $10.
So what is an offer? A free offer for example would typically have to sign up for something, like a simple registration form, a newsletter, an email form, or you may have to download a game or an app. Paid offers may have you subscribe to a service or product with your own money.
There are many skill-based games available for you to play for free, Inbox Dollars can let you earn money playing them. To start playing it only cost a few nickles and dimes, but if you get the highest score the payout can be worth it.
There isn’t a more relaxing way to earn than watching videos, you literally just have to sit there, unfortunately this means very easy and that means very low paying. For watching a 1 minute video you’ll only earn about 1/2 a penny.
No, you won’t be reading your own emails from your cousin Joey or sister Amanda. You’ll be opening emails from Inbox Dollars, each email will have an offer which you’ll have to view it, after you view the offer you’ll be credited with $0.02 in earnings. Everyday you may find only 3 emails to read. If you engage with the offer in the email then you may make more.
Searching The Web
Inbox Dollars will give you their own search bar. So instead of going to Google or Yahoo, every time you need to perform a web search just go to the one Inbox Dollar provides you. You won’t make money on every search, but you will randomly be credited. You can’t go crazy on the search just to make money, it’ll have to happen naturally.
$5 Sign Up Bonus
Inbox Dollars offer a pretty generous sign up bonus, you can get a free $5 just for joining. Just sign up HERE and then confirm your email to get your bonus.

How Does Inbox Dollars Pay You?
So far Inbox Dollars seem like an okay reward site, they have many ways to earn and a great referral program. But there’s a few things I don’t like about how they pay their users.
First negative is the minimum withdraw amount is at a staggering $30. You may think that this amount doesn’t seem like much, but bear in mind that you’re doing things that are super low paying to begin with, so realistically it will take you at least a whole month to earn $30.
Second negative is that the only way to receive your earnings is via check and gift cards, no Paypal. This is a deal breaker for me.
Third negative is they charge a $3 “processing fee” on top of your withdraw amount, which means you’re only receiving $27. This makes me mad because $3 is a big chunk of your precious earnings that took you a whole month to accrue!
I don’t want gift cards because I don’t shop online, and who’s got time nowadays to wait for a slow ass check that will take 2 weeks to arrive, and another 4 weeks to clear? I’d rather just go to another reward site like Swagbucks where they DO pay with paypal, they DON’T charge some stupid fee, AND their minimum withdraw amount is much lower.
Final Verdict: Is Inbox Dollars a Scam?
Inbox Dollars is not a scam, they are a legit reward site and really do pay their members. But the biggest peeve I have with them is how difficult they make it for you to actually receive your earnings.
First you need to make $30 by earning pennies at a time, then they slap some stupid $3 “processing fee” on top, then they mail you a slow ass check or make you choose some gift card.
They do have a few small redeeming qualities such as their $5 sign up bonus, and there are plenty of fun tasks you can do to earn. If you’d like to join Inbox Dollars, you can sign up now HERE or click the link below:
But ultimately there are better reward sites out there that don’t make you jump through hoops to get paid. The top 2 reward sites I often recommend are Swagbucks (read review) and Fusion Cash (read review,) they both offer multiple ways to earn, and they both pay easily and quickly. They both currently offer a $5 sign up bonus as well.
Also check out other reward sites I love and recommend.
Want To Earn More?
No matter how good a reward site is, none of them pay you enough to make a living out of. To make more than pennies and dimes you need to learn how to start your own online website business which is currently what I do.
