Today I’m reviewing a site called Eloot.gg which is a platform that lets you watch videos and take surveys to earn “gems” aka points. These points have cash value and can be cashed out via Paypal or cryptocurrency like Bitcoin once you’ve reached the minimum earning threshold.
They’re known as a “get-paid-to” site and there are 100s of similar ones out there on the internet, one thing they all have in common is that they all pay very low. So how much can you expect to earn? What’s the minimum cash out threshold? Find out below in this Eloot.gg review!

Type: Get-paid-to site
Membership Price: $0 Free to start earning
Eloot.gg (formerly Earn.gg) is a “get-paid-to” site that started up back in late 2016. They offer a total of 3 different ways to earn – watching videos, taking surveys, and referring others to join.
First thing you must know is that these things are incredibly low paying, laughably so. Sites like Eloot.gg are also known as “beer money” sites, don’t expect to pay your rent with your earnings.
How Eloot.gg REALLY Works
Signing up is free and is incredibly easy, you just need a Google account to get started. You don’t even need to create a password or anything. Just click the “Sign In With Google” button and log into your Google account and you’re ready to go and start earning.
Every time you complete a video or survey you’ll earn “gems” which are basically points. So how much are these points worth? The worth of your points depend on your cash out method, but if you’re cashing out with Paypal then $1 = 125,000 points.
One of the main ways to earn on Eloot.gg is by watching videos. In the “Earn Points” section you’ll find videos provided by 3rd party networks like Smores.tv and EngageMe.tv. Clicking either one of them will open up a new tab with the video that’ll start playing.
You’ll be able to choose what type of video to watch, some options include app trailers, movies, lifestyle, celebrity, viral, gaming, science/tech, and more.
The videos will be about 1-5 minutes long, and there will be advertisements in between them. You’ll earn 233 points per advertisement video watched.
You’ll have to stay on the same tab or else the video will pause automatically, but you can still get up to do something else while it plays.
So just to clarify, you’ll have to watch the main video plus the advertisement video, altogether that’ll take up about 5 minutes (give or take) of your time, just to earn 233 points which is worth a measly $0.0018. So basically you’re making like $0.02 an hour doing this! If you don’t like that you could try your luck with surveys.
Surveys are provided to you by 3rd party networks like AdscendMedia, OfferToro, Adgatemedia, Say So Rewards, and Superrewards. To start taking surveys you’ll first have to fill out your profile with some questions about your demographics such as your gender, age, martial status, race, etc. so they’ll be able to send you the appropriate surveys.
Surveys typically take about 10-15 minutes to finish and pay $0.25 to $2. The difficult part is you’ll need to qualify for a survey first which isn’t easy, most of the time you’ll get screened out after having wasted minutes of your time answering prequalifying questions.
Referring Others To Join
Eloot.gg has a referral program where you can earn 10% of your referrals earnings.
In your account’s referral section you can find your referral link and code to promote to your friends and anyone else you know, those who sign up under your link becomes your referral.
Honestly there’s not much earning potential here in my opinion. The trouble is that everything is so low paying, so 10% of that is almost nothing. You’ll need 1000’s of active referrals to earn anything significant.
How Do You Get Paid?
Once you’ve collected enough points you can cash out either via Paypal or with cryptocurrencies. With the cryptocurrencies there are many options to choose from including Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum.
The minimum payout varies depending on which method you choose to cash out. For Paypal it’s only $0.50, for Bitcoin it’s $2, for Litecoin it’s $0.50, and for Ethereum it’s $1.
Now here’s the part that really pisses me off… there is a freaking processing fee to make a cash out. The amount depends on the cash out method, but for Paypal it is 25,000 points which is equivalent to $0.20.
When you’re earning $0.02 per hour watching videos this $0.20 fee is relatively high.
If all this doesn’t sound good to you then check out Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate instead which are similar “get-paid-to” sites that offer more ways to earn and there’s no annoying cash out fees to deal with.
- Free and easy to join
- Fun ways to earn
- Pays with Paypal and cryptocurrency
- Not very many ways to earn
- Extremely low paying
- Hard to qualify for surveys
- High processing fees
Is Eloot.gg Even Worth Your Time?
Honestly I don’t think they’re worth the time. I mean, you’ll be earning pennies per hour watching videos, I don’t know about you but I believe my time is worth way more than that.
Even if you’re desperate to make some quick and easy cash there are better sites to do it at such as with Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate which offers a lot more variety of ways to earn, they all pay with Paypal, and there’s no annoying cash out “processing fee.”
If you’re looking for a full time income then none of these sites will do. Fortunately with my Top Work At Home Recommendation you can learn to make $1000+ per month with a blogging business. It’s not quick and it’s not easy, but it’s a 100% legit way to build a job-replacing type of income if you’re willing to put in the time and effort.
