As an introvert I tend to keep my opinions to myself, unless I absolutely had to give it or if I’m being rewarded financially for it. Companies out there like Crowdtap wants your opinions on various products and services and are willing to pay you for it. But you probably already have a good idea of what Crowdtap is, you just want to know if they’re a scam or legit.
If you’ve gone through a few Crowdtap reviews already and still are on the fence about them, maybe this Crowdtap review can finally help you come up with the right decision as to whether you should join or not.
If you want to know the whole truth about Crowdtap then stick around till the end!
By the way I highly recommend you check out my Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites which are sites that I personally use to make extra income online. They’re not going to make you rich, but they’re legit and do pay.
Type: Product testing, polls, questionnaires

What Is Crowdtap?
Crowdtap is a website that gives people who like to express themselves the opportunity to earn free rewards by completing “missions” which are basically short polls, surveys, questionnaires, and doing free product testing and writing reviews.
This company has been around since 2009 and I think the fact that they’ve been around for more than a decade does say something about their legitimacy, scams tend to close down within a few years at most.
Crowdtap operates with a points system. When you complete missions you’ll be rewarded with points, don’t worry you can trade those points for real life prizes like Amazon.com gift cards later on.
How To Join Crowdtap?
You can sign up for free by using your Facebook account or entering your email. There is also a phone verification process where you need to enter a USA mobile number, so it appears that people outside the USA cannot join.
After you’ve joined you can log in to check your dashboard where you’ll find “missions” which you can complete to earn points, you’ll see exactly how many points you’ll earn before starting the mission.
Mission – Answering Polls
Polls are the easiest to complete, these are just really simple multiple choice questions. The questions come in various categories such as Food and Drink, Personal Care, Beauty, Technology, and more.
For example the question can be:
- How many times per week do you eat out at a restaurant?
- When thinking about facial skin care, which of the following products would you be most interested in buying?
- What’s your favorite brand of make up?
The type of questions you get depends on how you fill out your profile and interests when you signed up to Crowdtap.
Questionnaires are more complex than polls, so they’re more like surveys. Once again you’ll see the amount of points you’ll be rewarded for completing it before you begin.
Free Product Testing & Reviews
You can apply to become a product tester. If approved you’ll be sent free product samples to use, then you’ll need to write a short honest review about the product. Product testing pay a lot more points than polls and questionnaires.
This is great because in addition to earning more points you also get to keep whatever product they send you.
Common sample product items include:
- Dish cleaners
- Laundry detergent
- Make up
- Body lotions
- and more…

How Does Crowdtap Pay You?
Once you’ve earned enough points you can redeem them for an Amazon.com gift card.
Unfortunately there aren’t any ways to get cash for your points. If you’re interested in earning cash you can use to pay your gas, groceries, phone, etc. then check out These Extra Income Sites instead where they all pay cash via Paypal plus other options.
The Bright Side
- Cost nothing to join
- Very easy to earn points
- You get free stuff
The Negative Side
- You need USA mobile number to sign up
- Polls and questionnaires are very low paying
- You need to qualify to become a product tester
- No cash payment options
- Not a source of substantial income
Is Crowdtap a Scam or Legit?
Crowdtap is definitely not a scam. They’re a legit website where you can earn some freebies for sharing your opinions on a range of topics. As far as an extra income site goes, they’re a fun way to earn some gift cards but I don’t like how there’s no cash paying options. You won’t get rich on this site, but you’ll be sure to have fun.
If you’re looking for more ways to earn extra income online I recommend These Top “Get-Paid-To” Sites which are sites that pay you for playing games, watching videos, taking surveys, doing offers, and much more.
If you’re looking for a full time income then no survey site will pay you enough, you need to learn to build an online business instead.
I highly recommend you check out my Top Work At Home Recommendation which is a top-rated platform that supplies step-by-step training and tools to help you build a blogging business that generates $1000+ per month in passive income.
My top recommendation is a 100% legit way to create a job-replacing level of income, but it does require some time and effort to create. But in my opinion it’s probably the best way for the average person to earn full time income online because it’s easy to learn to do and it’s free to start.
That’s the end of my Crowdtap review. Hope you have enjoyed it and if you have any questions let me know in the comments below.
