CreationsRewards Review – Earn Real Cash Rewards or a Scam?

earn free gift cards and cash for taking surveys

If you’ve ever looked for ways to make money online, then you’ve probably come across reward sites like CreationsRewards before. They’re sites that allow you to make a small bit of cash for doing some very simple things like taking surveys, clicking ads, watching ads, and other things. If you’re familiar with Swagbucks, it’s a similar sort of thing.

Is CreationsRewards a scam? Scams are pretty common in this sort of thing, so I wrote a review of CreationsRewards to give you some informed information which will better help you decide if it’s for you or not.

Some may think these reward sites are easy money, but they’re a tough way to earn money online. They’re “easy” in the sense that anyone can do them, but they’re tough because you can’t make much money doing them – they all pay really low.

If you’re looking to make the kind of money that can help you kick that 9 to 5 to the gutter, then forget about these reward sites and check out my free guide below where I show you the best way to make substantial money online. Get my free guide here:

CreationsRewards Intro – Who Are They?

Name: CreationsRewards

Price: Absolutely free
Verdict: Legitimate

CreationsRewards is a reward site, or also known as get-paid-to (GPT) site. The site was started by Christopher Basista in 2000 and it is based in New Jersey. They are a site that pays their users for doing various mundane online tasks such as giving opinions on a survey, answering polls, reading emails, watching ads, and other similar things that don’t require skill.

You don’t earn cash directly, but rather points which can later be redeemed for cash. The amount you can earn doing these things varies, but once you have earned enough points you can get paid real cash via Paypal or gift cards.

If you like the idea of GPT sites then I recommend you check out my full list of top extra income sites.

How Do You Earn Cash Rewards?

earn free gift cards for taking surveys shopping

$5 Sign Up Bonus

You’ll receive a sign up bonus of $5 upon signing up, but there’s a catch, you’ll have to earn 5000 points within 60 days or they’ll take it away! How lame is that?

Taking Surveys

You’ll be offered a list of different surveys you can take, they’ll be asking you for your opinions on various topics. Each one pays differently but typically you can expect 30 to 150 points (worth $0.25 to $2) for each completed survey, you’ll find out exactly how much the survey pays beforehand. Each survey takes about 10 to 30 minutes to finish. The tough part about surveys is that you’ll need to qualify first by taking a bunch of screening questions, and if you don’t qualify you don’t get paid.

Doing Cash Offers

Cash offers are things that usually ask you to sign up for websites, products, or services. Some offers are free to do such as signing up for a newsletter, but others requires credit card info for a free trial or requires spending money for a subscription. The free ones pay about $0.25 to $2 while the paid offers pay $2 to $10.

Watching Videos

Watching videos is probably the easiest task on CreationsRewards. You just have to open up these videos which are usually advertisements that run for about 1 minute. You can watch about 25 videos a day and each one you watch will earn you about 1/2 a penny, so the earning potential of this is definitely very low.

Exploring Websites

This is basically where you visit another website and either have to watch a slideshow or interact with the content in some way such as clicking some things. This is another easy way to earn, but it only pays about 1 to 2 points.

Going Shopping

CreationsRewards has a list of over 700 online stores, shop at any one of them and you could be earning cash back which is like a rebate. You can earn about 2 to 10 points for every dollar you spend. Obviously this is not a way to make any money as you’d have to spend it first, but if you’re already an online shopaholic, shopping through CreationsRewards would be a great way to save some money.

Referring Friends

Just take your referral link and spread the word to your friends or anyone you know. CreationsRewards have a pretty good referral program, you’ll earn 10% of your referrals’ earnings for life. But honestly, unless you have 100s of referrals that are active, you probably won’t make much.

CreationsRewards Hacks:

Promo Codes

You can earn an easy 5 to 10 points by entering promo codes, which are basically free bonuses given out at various times. You can find these promo codes in the member’s area, or checking your email or on the social media pages of CreationsRewards.

Daily Goal Bonus

You’ll be offered 2 different goal options: a quick bonus, or a full bonus.

For the quick bonus you’ll have to complete a “quick” daily goal, such as earning 50 points today, upon completion of this daily goal you’ll receive 10 daily goal bonus points. Or you can choose to attempt a bigger daily goal to get the “full” bonus.

You can only choose to do either the quick bonus or the full bonus each day.

How Does CreationsRewards Pay You?

There’s a couple of ways to redeem your points for cash rewards:

  • Paypal (redeem at minimum 1020 points – $5 equivalent)
  • Gift cards (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Starbucks, and more – Redeem at minimum 1000 points or $5 equivalent)

You may have noticed that the points are worth differently depending upon which cash out option you select. It takes a bit more points to redeem for a $5 Paypal payment than to receive the same $5 for gift cards.

How Long Does It Take to Get Paid?

They say non-Paypal rewards can take about 8 to 12 weeks to process, which is ridiculous, why does it take so long? Would you want to wait 12 weeks to receive a $5 gift card? I’m not sure how long it takes to receive money via Paypal, but CreationsRewards simply says that it’s “currently taking longer” to process.

Want To Get Paid Faster?

If you don’t like waiting 12 weeks to receive a $5 gift card, then consider checking out other GPT sites that pays much quicker.

CreationsRewards Complaints:

Just Extra Income

Even though all the methods of earning points are pretty easy to do and requires no skill, they all pay very low and you can’t really make any significant income doing this. You can typically make about $10 to $30 a month on reward sites, and that’s if you go on there every single day. For those looking to make a living online, I suggest you check out my #1 Recommendation instead.

$5 Sign Up Bonus

They start off your account with a $5 bonus which sounds nice, but in reality there’s a stipulation – you have to earn 5000 points within 60 days of joining or else you’ll lose it. Swagbucks also offers a $5 sign up bonus, but they don’t take it away from you if you don’t earn 5000 points within 60 days!

Takes Forever To Get Paid

My biggest beef with CreationsRewards is how they take their sweet ass time to process your rewards, 8 to 12 weeks are you kidding me? I don’t know about you but I don’t got no time to spend all day on their site earning pennies and dimes, then to wait another 12 weeks to receive a lame ass $5 gift card. I’ve got better ways to make money online than to settle for this BS.

Conclusion – Is CreationsRewards a Scam?

CreationsRewards is not a scam, they’re a legit GPT site that really do pay their members. But they’re far from being my favorite GPT site and I really do not recommend them at all. Their “sign up bonus” has a big catch, their tasks are all low paying, and they take a long time to pay out rewards.

These reward sites are a great way to kill some time, but not for earning any serious money. If you’re looking to make a more substantial income, I highly recommend that you start your own online blogging business where you can potentially make a part time or full time passive income via affiliate marketing, ads, and other things. I just want to say that I requested a PayPal reward of $25 on December 14th 2018 and it is now May 1st 2019 and they say the reward process is faster now because they claim it takes 7 to 14 days to process after its claimed. I work for several different survey sites and I don’t have a problem with any other site but CreationsRewards.

Did you email them about it and if so did they respond? Some reward sites just simply go downhill after awhile. If they stop paying then it’s best to move on to bigger and better sites with better reputation like Swagbucks for example.
