Clixblue is a “paid-to-click” or PTC site, they’ve been around since 2014 and have paid out $117,000 to their members for clicking and viewing ads. Anyone can sign up and start earning. They say they are the “best way to earn cash from home” so in this Clixblue review let’s see if that’s true.
Clixblue does not appear to be a scam, but they do not provide a big income opportunity. Viewing ads is one of the lowest paying things you can do, there are different ads that pay differently but on average you can expect around $0.001 per ad you view. No that’s not a cent, that’s 1/10th of a cent!
If you’re looking to make a few quick bucks these better sites offer you a bit more for your time.

My Rating: 2.2 out of 5
I rated Clixblue a 2.2 out of 5 and I don’t think they’re the best way to earn cash from home at all. The main way to earn on this site is by viewing ads, but there are also other things you can do to earn like offers and games. The problem is they’re all low paying, even though the minimum payout is only $5 you’ll have to work pretty hard to get it.
Earning income viewing ads is not effortless as they say, it’s really boring and the pay ain’t worth it. I’d rather earn money online by watching videos and playing games like I can do on Swagbucks.
Overall Clixblue is not a site to get excited about. At first making money all seems really easy, but soon you’ll realize that making that first $1 is harder than it seems when you’re only earning 1/10th of a penny at a time.
How Does Clixblue Work?
In the “view ads” page you’ll see a big list of ads that you can click. There are different ads that pay ranges from $0.0002 to $0.001. When you click an ad it will open up a new tab and a timer will start, after about 10 seconds you’ll have to solve a CAPTCHA type thing and then you’ll see your earnings in your account balance.
This actually pays a lot more than viewing ads. Offers come in different forms, but basically you’re paid to do a task of some sort. Some examples of offers are taking a short survey, joining a casino site, downloading a game or app, complete a quiz on a subject, or making a small purchase.
There are offers that are free to do and ones that require spending money. The free ones tend to pay around $0.25 to $2 while the ones requiring you to spend money pay $2 to $5+. There are also trial offers that require your credit card number, but it’s free if you cancel before your trial before your card gets charged.
Flip The Coin
You can’t actually earn any money doing this, and it’s basically a gambling game. In the “Flip The Coin” section you’ll see a coin and you’re suppose to bet money on which side it lands on when you flip it. If you win you get double, and you can bet a maximum of $50.
Your odds are 50/50 (supposedly) and in the long run you shouldn’t be losing. But you can’t know if their game is honest or rigged, now can you?
This is another game but you can actually win money here. In the “BlueGrid” section you’ll find a large square made up of 560 small grids. You’re supposed to click a grid for a chance to win $5. When you click the grid it will launch a new tab with an ad that you have to view for a few seconds, then you’ll be told if you won or not.
You get up to 25 chances per day. But notice that they say “a CHANCE to win $5.” When I look at the recent winners list everyone just wins $0.005! So I’m not sure where the $5 comes from.
How To Earn More?
Clixblue gives you promotional tools such as referrals links and banners to refer others, when you recruit others to join you can earn a share of their clicks. As a standard member you earn $0.0005 per direct referral click, but you can upgrade your account to earn more. I’ll discuss the paid membership levels below:
This is one of their upsells, basically you can pay for a monthly membership which will give you slightly more earnings from viewing ads and referrals, more chances to win with the BlueGrid, and slightly faster payout times. There’s 3 different levels – Blue World, Blue Sky, and Blue Ultimate.
As you can see above in the picture, the membership prices per month isn’t cheap and it will take you a LONG time to make back what you paid for it, the benefits just isn’t worth the cost in my opinion.
If you can’t find your own referrals then Clixblue lets you rent them for 4-7 days, this is another one of their upsells. Just like the account upgrades this is risky because you’ll have to make back what you paid first before you can enjoy the benefits, if you don’t make it back then you end up losing money.
Each referral cost $0.20 to rent and as a free member you can rent up to a maximum of 100 referrals. If you upgrade your account you can rent more. But honestly I’d advise you not to pay to rent referrals because you don’t know if those referrals are going to be active at all.
Clixblue – How Do They Pay You?
Once you have earned a minimum of $5 then you can request a payout with Skrill, Payza, SolidTrust Pay, Perfect Money, Payeer, or Bitcoin. Free members will have their payments processed within 24hrs while paid members will have their payments processed immediately.
Unfortunately they don’t seem to offer payments via Paypal at this time. If you want to be paid with Paypal then check out These Extra Income Sites Paying With Paypal.
Is Clixblue a Scam?
Clixblue is not a scam, they’re a legit way to earn a buck or two, but what the hell does that buy you these days? You’ll be earning a small fraction of a PENNY for each ad you view, I think there are better ways to make money online.
If you’re going to join Clixblue you might as well skip the ads and just go to the “Offers” section and do those instead because they offer a much better ROI on your time. But I would recommend that you join sites like Swagbucks instead where they have a wider selection of offers and more ways to earn.
In the end clicking ads, playing games, and all these things are just supplemental income opportunities. If you want to make some REAL money online then check out my #1 Recommended Way of Making Money Online where you’ll learn to build a profitable full time blogging business.
