download app to take paid surveys

CitizenMe is an app-based platform that started up back in 2013 and they are based in London, UK. The way to join is by going to the Google Play Store or Apple Store to download their app. On the app there are surveys you can take to earn cash rewards and be paid through Paypal.

You can earn cash taking surveys because market research companies want your opinions and they’re willing to pay you for it. The data collected will benefit the companies and lead to better products and services.

By the way, if you like taking surveys you should also check out Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate which are “get-paid-to” sites that pay you to take surveys, do offers, play games, watch videos, and more.

The TRUTH of How CitizenMe Works

Getting Started

CitizenMe is app-based, meaning you can only join them through their app which you can download in Google Play Store or Apple Store. To sign up you just have to create an account with your email and verify it, you also have to be at least 16 years old to join.

Once you’ve downloaded the app just go to the “fun” section which will prompt you to complete your profile and answer a few basic questions about your demographics such as age, gender, education level, employment, etc.

Answering this short survey will help CitizenMe know you better so they can deliver you better targeted surveys.

Survey Opportunities

In the app there are different sections distinguished by their different colors:

  • Fun (light blue)
  • Insight (dark blue)
  • Donate (red)
  • Earn (green)

When you answer questions in the “Fun” and “Insights” section this will build up your profile, this helps you qualify to receive actual paid surveys which is in the “Earn” section – you will see a notification when a survey is available for you.

In the “Donate” section you can answer questions where the data collected will be used for market research by non-profit organizations.

Did you know you can also earn money online by watching videos, playing games, completing tasks, and more at “get-paid-to” websites like Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate?

Can You Make a Living Doing Surveys?

No, doing online surveys is only good for a very small income. Their surveys are usually very short and only takes about 5 minutes or less to do, and the pay usually about $0.25 to $0.50.

There are a lot of complaints from users on Google Play who say they rarely receive any paid surveys, some even waited a whole month without receiving a single paid survey!

In my own personal experience in doing online surveys, you shouldn’t expect to make more than $5-$10 a month.

If making $5-$10 doesn’t suit you, then check out my Top Work At Home Recommendation now where I’ll show you how to make $1,000+ a month with a real blogging business.

How Does CitizenMe Pay You?

Good thing it doesn’t take long to get paid, once you’ve earned any amount you will get paid via Paypal.

This is unlike many other survey sites out there which makes you accumulate a minimum amount of earnings (typically around $25) before they pay you, with CitizenPe there is no minimum payout threshold.

CitizenMe Advantages

  • Free to join and many countries can download their app
  • Surveys are short and sweet, most take under 5 minutes to complete
  • There is no minimum payout threshold
  • Pays conveniently via Paypal

CitizenMe Complaints

  • Very small income opportunity
  • A lot of people report to seldom receive any paid surveys
  • No other ways to earn besides doing surveys

Is CitizenMe a Scam?

CitizenMe is not a scam, but it’s only a small income opportunity and you shouldn’t expect to make more than $5-$10 a month. The surveys are short and easy to do, but you won’t get that many of them and most of them pay below $1. The best thing about CitizenMe is that there’s no minimum payout threshold, so once you earn ANYTHING you’ll get paid immediately.

If you like taking surveys I highly recommend you check out other extra small sites like Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate where there are more ways to earn including cash offers, games, videos, and more.
