What Is Cinchbucks?

Cinchbucks is known as a “get-paid-to” site that pays you to complete a variety of easy online tasks, things you’re probably already doing online anyway such as sharing your opinions, watching videos, visiting other websites, and so on.

Cinchbucks is not really unique, on the internet you’ll find many sites that pay you for these same types of tasks. If you’ve ever heard of Swagbucks it’s basically the same type of thing. One thing all these sites have in common is that they pay very low.

If you like earning a little bit of money online I recommend you see my full list of Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites which have all paid me before so I know they will pay you too.

Getting Started

Cinchbucks is opened globally and free to join. To get started just enter your email and create a password, or you can just use your Facebook or Google account to join.

Once you have confirmed your email you can log in. You’ll automatically see 10 CBs accredited to your account right away, this is a sign up bonus they give you.

Filling Out Profiles

Once you’re in your user dashboard there will also be a primary and secondary profile you’ll need to fill out. The profile contains questions about your age, income, education, job, etc. This allows Cinchbucks to know what demographic you belong to so they can send you more targeted surveys and offers.

After completing your profiles you’ll earn another 40 CBs. From there you can earn more CBs by completing a variety of tasks.

How To Earn Money On Cinchbucks?

By completing tasks you’ll earn “cinch bucks”, or CB for short. This is virtual currency, but don’t worry you can trade them in for real cash and gift cards later on. For your reference, 100 Cinch Bucks = $1.00

Taking Surveys

In the surveys section you’ll find a big list of available surveys for you to take. They’ll tell you how many cinch bucks you’ll earn for completing it as well as the estimated time to complete it.

Just scroll through the list and if you see one you like you can click “Take This Survey” which will take you to the survey itself.

It seems that most surveys pay around 20 to 150 cinch bucks ($0.20 to $1.50 equivalent) and take anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes to complete.

Before the survey begins there will be a bunch of screening questions to see if you qualify to take it. How often you qualify depends on your location and other demographic factors, but on average it takes many many many tries to qualify for one and it’s a waste of time in my opinion.

Doing Marketing Offers

On the “Offerwall” section you’ll find many marketing offers you can complete to earn.

Offers are basically where you’re paid to engage with brands and advertisers. Offers are provided by third party market research companies like Peanut Labs, Personaly, Offertoro, and many more.

There are both free and paid offers.

Examples of free offers are things like signing up for a free product trial, visiting a website, entering your email on a form, downloading a free game, completing a short survey, and much more.

Paid trials are more difficult/risky because it involves having to make a purchase to complete it. But paid offers do pay a lot more than free ones. You can make money with paid offers but you just have to ensure it pays more than it cost you to do them.

Watching Vidoes

In the videos section you’ll find many categories of videos including music, travel, nature, celebrities, movies, and much more. These videos are provided by a third party platform called Smores.tv.

These videos are basically trailers and commercials that are about 30 seconds to a minute long. For every 3 videos + ad you watch you’ll earn 0.70 cinch bucks.

Cinch Codes

From time to time Cinchbucks will be giving out bonus in the form of cinch codes. Check their blog, Facebook, and Twitter periodically to see if they’ve posted any cinch codes. If you see one just copy/paste it to the “CB Code” section to redeem free cinch bucks.

Shopping Cashback & Coupons

There is a cashback and coupons section where you can save money shopping.

There are a number of online retailers that Cinchbucks have partnered with to get you these savings, for example Amazon.com which offers 5% cashback. Just shop at the retailer through Cinchbucks’ link and you’ll be tracked properly.

Getting Friends To Join

Take your unique referral code and promote Cinchbucks to your friends, people who sign up under your code becomes your referral and you’ll earn 20% of whatever they earn for life. So for example if a referral earns 100 cinch bucks, you’ll earn 20 cinch bucks.

Earning Potential

Although there are endless ways to earn on Cinchbucks, all of them pay very low and it’s mostly a small supplemental income opportunity. Don’t expect to make anymore than $25 to $50 per month on this site.

If you’d like to earn more I recommend you Join Multiple “Get-Paid-To” Sites which will give you more opportunities to earn.

How Does Cinchbucks Pay You?

Once you’ve earned at least 1,000 cinch bucks you can redeem them for real rewards, and there are many to choose from including cash via PayPal, Bitcoin, and a variety of gift cards that includes:

  • Amazon.com
  • iTunes
  • Walmart
  • Ebay
  • Target
  • Prepaid gift card Visa
  • Shoppers Stop
  • and much more…

Once you’ve requested the payment you’ll receive it within about 10-30 business days.

The Positives

  • Free, easy, and quick to join
  • Earn 50 cinch bucks right away just for joining and filling out your profiles
  • Lots of ways to earn
  • Generous referral program
  • Lots of good payment options including PayPal
  • Low payout thresholds

The Negatives

  • Surveys are hard to qualify for
  • Very low paying tasks
  • Don’t expect to make a full time income doing this

Is Cinchbucks a Scam?

No, Cinchbucks is not a scam. They appear to be a legit GPT site that offers many ways to earn and has very good payment options where you can get PayPal cash, gift cards, and even Bitcoin.

If you just want to have fun and make a little money online, this is a cool way to do it and I definitely recommend Cinchbucks.

However you won’t make more than $25 or so per month on just one site. I recommend you to join multiple sites so there will be more opportunities to earn. Check out my Favorite “Get-Paid-To” Sites which are legit sites that have all paid me before so I know they can be trusted.

But I wouldn’t recommend you try to make a full time income with these sites which are only meant for earning extra income, your hourly return is just too small to make it worthwhile.

If you’re seeking a full time online income opportunity check out my Top Work At Home Recommendation instead which is a step-by-step training program that teaches people on how to build a 4 to 5 figure monthly income with a blogging business.

My top recommendation does work, however only join if you’re prepared to put in a lot of hard work and effort!
