I used to love watching trivia game shows like Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? I would have loved to be on the show as a contestant picking the right answers and winning all that money. Fortunately you don’t have to be on TV to win money, there are apps that give you that opportunity.
Today I found an app called Cash Show that hosts online trivia game shows and lets you win real cash prizes if you answer questions correctly.
You won’t become a millionaire, but you might be able to win some real spending money depending on how much knowledge you have. Is Cash Show app a scam? How much can you win? How do you get paid? Find out in this Cash Show app review!
By the way did you know that you can also earn money online at “get-paid-to” sites like Swagbucks where you get paid to share your opinions, play games, watch videos, click ads, and more?
Cash Show App Review
What Is Cash Show App?
Cash Show is an app you can download on Google Play or the Apple Store, they broadcast a trivia game show three times a day and you can participate by answering the trivia questions and win cash prizes.
This app was developed by ZenJoy which is a Chinese company that produces social gaming mobile apps.
How Does It Work?
A trivia game show runs three times per day on the app, so all you have to do is tune in when it’s running and participate. There will be trivia questions on topics such as entertainment, music, geography, sports, etc. They even offer a push notification so you can make sure you don’t miss the show when it’s live.
Each show has a total of 12 trivia multiple choice questions, you only get 10 seconds to answer each question so that’s probably not enough time to google the right answer or phone a friend for help!
If you answered the question correctly then you move on to the next question. If you answer it wrong then you’re finished!
You’ll only start making money after you’ve answered the first 6 questions correctly, so only questions 6 to 12 will award you with cash prizes if answered correctly. You’ll see the prize amount for the question on the screen.
The prize amount will be divided to all the winners who answered correctly. So if the 12th question has a prize amount of $2000 and 20 people answered correctly, then each winner receives $100 in winnings.
The bigger prizes are heavily weighted towards the top. So for example question #6 may have a prize amount of $600 while question #12 may have an amount of $2000.
Also a good thing to know is once you’ve won any money it’s locked in, meaning if you’ve made it to question #12 and you answered incorrectly, you get to keep everything you’ve earned from question 6 to 11.
How Do You Get Paid?
Once you’ve made it to at least $10 in winnings the money will be paid to your Paypal account.
How Much Money Can You Make?
This depends on how much you know about stuff on various different topics. If you cannot make it past question #6 then you won’t win a single dime! It also depends on how many people are answering the questions correctly, remember the prize amounts are split between all winners.
From skimming over the reviews on Google Play and other forums it seems like most people are earning less than $1 per game.
By the way you can also make money online at “get-paid-to” sites like Swagbucks by taking surveys, watching videos, playing games, browsing the web, doing offers, and more. They also pay with Paypal too!
- 100% free to download and play
- Win free money playing a fun trivia game
- Chance to win good money if you’re knowledgeable
- Pays with Paypal
- Low payment threshold of only $10
- Main complain is about the excessive ads which is annoying
- There’s lots of complaints about the app freezing and crashing
- Annoying and distracting live chat on the bottom of the app
- You’ll be splitting prizes with a lot of people
- Very low income potential
Is Cash Show App a Scam?
It appears that Cash Show is a legit app that lets you play free trivia games to win money. Currently the app has a 4.5 star rating out of 5 on Google Play and I didn’t find any issues or problems concerning payments.
Honestly this can be a pretty addicting app, especially if you’re into playing trivia games. But don’t expect to get rich doing this because many people say they only win nickles and dimes at a time.
If making money is your main motivation there are better sites to join such as Swagbucks which lets you earn money online by taking surveys, doing offers, watching videos, playing games, and more. They’ve paid out over $300 million since 2008 and they’re definitely 100% legit.
