earn free bitcoin

Bitcoinget is basically a “get-paid-to” site that pays you for a variety of online tasks such as answering surveys, doing offers, watching videos, and more. As their name suggests, you get paid with a cryptocurrency called Bitcoin instead of cash.

If you want to get paid with cash there are similar sites out there you can join. My favorite ones are Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate.

How Bitcoinget REALLY Works

Getting Started

You don’t need anything else other than a bitcoin address to join, and it’s totally free!

If you don’t have a Bitcoin address, don’t worry, there is a place called Coinbase which is basically a place to temporarily hold some of your Bitcoins.

Once you’ve entered your Bitcoin address in to the form you can start to earn. You will have a variety of different tasks you can do to earn Bitcoins.

By the way, if you didn’t know, 1 Bitcoin is worth about $6,000 USD right now. So obviously you won’t be earning “Bitcoins” but rather Bits, and 1,000,000 is equal to 1 Bitcoin.

So yeah, “get-paid-to” sites are a low paying gig and you won’t make a million dollars doing it. But the tasks are easy and some are them are really fun to do:

Taking Surveys

Surveys you take at Bitcoinget are provided by 3rd party market research companies like TapResearch and Peanut Labs. They are looking for t he opinions of their target demographic base, and they’ll pay you for your time spent answering those surveys.

How much they pay depends on the survey and how long it is. Some surveys will pay about 20-30 Bits ($0.12 to $0.19 USD) for one that takes 10-20 minutes to finish, but there are higher paying ones as well but they’re harder to qualify for.

Yes, if you didn’t know with surveys you have to qualify for them to get paid. First they’re give you screening questions, some people think they’ve started a survey but they’re only testing you to see if you qualify. Usually after a couple of minutes you’ll get kicked off for not qualifying.

Having to qualify is a pain because it depends on your demographics and you cannot control it. Some people qualify for more surveys, some for less. It’s all down to luck.

Completing Cash Offers

Offers are basically where you’re paid to sign up for a website or to download an app. Many are free to do but some of them like free trials for example can require a credit card number, it’s still free as long as you cancel the trial before it ends.

Like surveys these offers are provided to you by 3rd part research companies like Offerwalls, Persona.ly, and Adscend Media.

Typically with free offers all you’ll have to do is enter your name, phone, email, and some other basic info into a box and then click “submit.” It’s actually my favorite way to earn on these “get-paid-to” sites because unlike surveys there’s no pesky qualification process.

Some offers require you to make a purchase first, such as by downloading a Casino app and making a deposit. Obviously if the offer doesn’t pay you more than it cost to complete it, then you’re losing money. So the important thing is to make sure you look at how much reward it pays and what it cost to do it.

Watching Videos

Yes, you can even watch videos and make money online. But you should expect it to be very low paying, and it is. Typically you’ll be making around $0.005 (that’s HALF a penny) for every couple of minutes of videos that you watch.

You’ll be watching mostly advertisement videos, Bitcoin supplies their videos from a platform called Smores.tv.

Doing Micro Tasks

You can get paid for doing micro tasks which can comprise of a wide variety of work such as sorting receipts, picture categorizing, transcription, and a lot of other boring type of work and pay very low… even lower than surveys.

If you’ve ever heard of Amazon Mechanical Turk, it’s basically the same thing except the platform is called Figure Eight instead.

If all this sound good to you so far then I recommend you also check out my other recommended “get-paid-to” websites like Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate which all pays cash instead of Bitcoins.

Going Shopping Online

So you don’t actually get paid to shop, but you do get to save some money from shopping.

They basically give you 5 Bits for every dollar you spent shopping at their sister website called CoinRebates.

CoinRebates is not an online store, they’re a cashback website that lets you earn by shopping online through the stores they’re partnered with. Some big name stores include Walmart, Macy’s, Overstock, and more.

Invite Others To Join

Bitcoinget has a referral program where you can earn money for other people’s efforts. Those joining under your link will become your referral, and you’ll earn 10% of their earnings from surveys and 20% of their earnings from offers and tasks.

This is a pretty awesome way to earn as you can let others do the dirty work for you, you can even earn money in your sleep! The trouble is it’s hard to refer enough people to earn good money.

You can get your friends and relatives to join and support you, but that number of people is limited. Unless you build a blogging business in which case you can attract 1,000s of people to sign up and only then can you earn some serious cash doing this.

When Does Bitcoinget Pay You?

The minimum payout threshold is 1,000 Bits which is equal to about $6 USD at this time.

After you’ve reached this threshold you will be paid within a day or two.

There is no way to exchange this into USD or other cash currencies. Bitcoin is all you’ll get with Bitcoinget. If you’re interested in earning cash then see these sites that pay with Paypal.

Is Bitcoinget a Scam?

Bitcoinget appears to be scam-free and therefore a legit way to get some free Bitcoins (or shall I say, Bits) for doing some simple tasks which require no special skill. The trouble is they’re very low paying tasks and you’ll be earning pennies at a time.

Furthermore, Bitcoin is not a stable currency and it’s value can rise or drop depending on the market. If you’re looking to earn extra money online then I’d highly recommend you sticking with good ol’ cash for that. See sites like Swagbucks, Inbox Pays, and Cash Crate.

Extra cash just means $10-$30 a month, you won’t get rich or make a living doing these “get-paid-to” sites.
