Best “Get-Paid-To” Sites That Pay – Top 5 Winners! (2019)

GPT “Get-paid-to” sites are one of the most popular ways to make money online because they offer a wide variety of paid online activities that require no skill. Unfortunately some sites are scams and if you’re not careful you could fall into a trap.

That’s why I’ve compiled a list of the top 5 best “get-paid-to” sites that pay. The sites I recommend below are all trustworthy and do pay, these sites have all paid me before so I know they’ll pay you as well.

How To Recognize a Good GPT Site:

When you’re looking to join a good GPT site some of the important things to look for is:

  • Are they free to join? Legit GPT sites never charge you a membership fee
  • Is taking surveys the only opportunity? GPT platforms pay you for multiple tasks like surveys, watching videos, playing games, reading emails, and more. Obviously more ways to earn is better.
  • How do they pay you your earnings? Some sites only pay with gift cards while other ones pay cash with Paypal or check.
  • What’s the payment threshold? Most GPT sites pay you once you reached earnings of $25-$50, any higher than that and it’ll be too difficult to reach

Below are my top 5 picks for the best GPT sites that pay. All of these sites are 100% free to join and all of them pay with Paypal.

While most of these sites are “get-paid-to” sites, some of them are “pure” survey sites which means they only offers paid surveys and nothing else, but since they have such a good reputation I decided to include it in my list. So here we go…

Top 5 – Best “Get-Paid-To” Sites That Pay

1. Swagbucks

get paid to watch videos play games

There’s a good reason why Swagbucks is #1 on my list. They’ve been around since 2008 and have paid out over $300 million to their members since. And yes, I’ve been paid by them (multiple times) before so I know they’re 100% legit.

Aside from being trustworthy they also offer some of the best ways to earn, the best payment methods, and they currently offer a pretty generous $5 sign up bonus.

Here’s a brief summary of what they offer:

  • Free to join and sign up
  • Currently offer a $5 sign up bonus
  • Get paid to take surveys, do offers, play games, watch videos, refer others, shopping, and more
  • Get paid via Paypal and gift cards like Amazon and more
  • Low payout thresholds

If it all sounds good then you can Join Swagbucks Here, or you can read my Full Swagbucks Review.

2. Inbox Pays

get paid to read emails

Inbox Pays is another “get-paid-to” site that offers some easy ways to earn such as by reading emails, doing cash offers, playing a wheel spinning game, and referring others to join.

The best thing about Inbox Pays is that they make payments via Paypal, unfortunately their payout threshold is $50 which would be quite difficult to reach unless you are dedicated and don’t give up.

Here’s a summary of what they offer:

  • Free to join and sign up
  • Currently offering a $5 sign up bonus
  • Earn money reading emails, doing offers, playing jackpot wheel, clipping coupons, and referring others
  • Pays cash via Paypal once you’ve reached $50 in earnings

If you like what you see then you can Join Inbox Pays Here, or you can read my Full Inbox Pays Review.

3. Survey Junkie

take surveys get paid

Staying true to their name, surveys is the main way to earn on Survey Junkie. Although I tend to favor sites that offer more than one way to earn, at least Survey Junkie has a very low payout threshold of only $10 and they pay with Paypal which is my favorite method for getting paid online.

Here’s a summary of features:

  • Free to join and sign up
  • Take surveys and get paid cash
  • Earn at least $10 and get paid via Paypal or gift cards

If you like the sound of that you can Join Survey Junkie Here, or read my Full Survey Junkie Review.

4. Toluna US

earn money online giving your opinion

Toluna US is yet another “get-paid-to” site where ways to earn include taking surveys and many other things. I like Toluna because they offer some unusual ways to earn such as by creating polls, battles, thumb it, testing products, and referring others to join.

You’ll find some negative reviews online about them, but overall I’d still consider them legit because they seem to pay most people. I also like that they pay with Paypal once you’ve earned $30, and gift cards start at $10.

Here’s a summary of what Toluna US offers:

  • Free to join and sign up
  • Earn by taking surveys, testing products, interacting with polls, battles, thumb it, and making referrals
  • Get paid with Paypal and gift cards

Want to give them a try? You can Join Toluna US Here, or check out my Full Toluna US Review.

5. Point Club

earn money taking surveys

The last site on this list is Point Club which is similar to Survey Junkie in that surveys are the only way to earn. But I do like that they pay with Paypal and the minimum payout threshold is only $25. They also offer a $5 sign up bonus so your first cash out is only $20 in earnings away.

Here is the summary for Point Club:

  • Free to join and sign up
  • Currently offering a $5 sign up bonus
  • Earn by completing surveys
  • Payment method includes Paypal and gift cards (Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, and more!)

If you’re ready to sign up you can Join Point Club Here, or come see my Full Point Club Review.

To Wrap It All Up…

I hope you have found a site you liked and decided to give it a go, the sites on this list have all paid me before so I know they can be trusted. Even though some of these sites may have high payout thresholds, once you’ve reached them you WILL get paid.

It’s important to note that none of these sites can replace your full time job as they all pay incredibly low, these sites are meant for “beer money” which means chump change, I wouldn’t expect to make more than $10 to $20 a month per site.

Maybe you can make more if you signed up to all of them, but you’d still be making a silly low hourly rate.

If I had to pick one that I’d recommend above all else it’s got to be Swagbucks, I say this because they’ve paid out over $300 million to their members since 2008, they offer many ways to earn, they offer convenient payment methods including Paypal, and they even give out a $5 sign up bonus.

I found your listing of these sites useful since I am looking to make some extra cash.Thank you for your honesty in pointing out that you should not expect to make more than $10 to $30 a month from these sites.

Nevertheless I will try one or two of these sites in my free time. However,I am concerned the survey sites may collect my personal data and then send me spam E-Mails trying to sell me stuff.Have you encountered this problem?

Swagbucks seems to be reputable judging by their long business history so I will follow your #1 recommendation and try them first.

Hey Carlos, when you sign up for these types of extra income sites you will probably receive a lot of spam email. I would recommend that you create a separate email just for these sort of things, so you don’t get bombarded with annoying junk mail in your regular inbox.

This is great!! As a mom that works from home, I am always looking for ways to make money online. Every penny counts! I appreciate that you gave a realistic idea as to how much money one can make with these sites; there are so many sites that give false hope and ridiculous numbers. Thanks for the resources and helpful information, I will definitely check out a few of your recommendations. And just a side note: I would love to collaborate with you! =)

    • Author - Kent Leung says:

Hello Neva, I’m glad you found everything helpful. Yeah I really hate sites that give you false hopes, I’d take less paying but honest sites any day. What kind of collaboration are you seeking?

I am familiar with Swagbucks and CashCrate. They are good programs for people who want to casually make a few bucks now and then as an alternative to playing online games like solitaire. Personally, I am not a fan of surveys because they. collect lots of demographic data that is far more valuable than the amounts you get paid for taking surveys online. I have taken marketing surveys (focus groups) in person, typically on Saturday mornings, that have paid out $50+ a session.

    • Author - Kent Leung says:

Oh yeah, focus groups pay REALLY well. Unfortunately it’s pretty hard to qualify for one and so it’s not easy to find an opportunity. But I’ve seen focus groups that pay up to $150+ per hour, so definitely something to look out for.

I have heard and tried some of these.  Interesting thing is that yes, none of them are scams.  You can make money, that is correct.  I am just curious if you know what the “average” hourly wage might be for someone that avidly does these GPT sites?  In my experience, I did a lot of time on tasks, surveys, etc but I really never made anything more than pennies.  This was a long time ago, and so things might have changed.  I would give it a try if I had an idea of what might possibly be an income you could “expect” if you put your due time and diligence into it.

    • Author - Kent Leung says:

The activities that provide the most hourly earnings would be the surveys and offers. For surveys you can earn $0.25 to $2 per survey which takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete, so that’s roughly $4 per hour. For offers it’s about the same, depending on whether you complete the free ones or the paid ones.

But in reality you won’t qualify for many surveys which will waste a lot of your time answering screening questions, so I’m estimating $1 to $2 per hour taking surveys realistically.

As for the offers I recommend you find the free ones which usually just require that you sign up for a website or a free trial. You don’t need to qualify to do offers, so it definitely gives you the most money for your time and is the one I recommend the most.

Generally speaking one shouldn’t expect to make more than $1 to $2 an hour, and some of these tasks like surveys and offers you cannot do unlimited amounts of them, you’ll do some offers and then they’ll run out and you’ll have to wait until new ones arrive.

Overall you can expect to make $25 to $50 per month with these sites, maybe a bit more if you’re willing to join multiple sites.
